The lounge inside #1901 ... The only 60th decor I saw in either club was in this room. Basic silver-ish bows with crystals/"diamonds" . The vibe in here is great! Nice to get away from the bustle outside and relax.
1963... Did they have phones back then? Hey! Why are there wires hanging out of them... Did they need to charge? - disneydork 328.7 #705 4-10-15 12:40PMLikeReply
@msdizmaui I absolutely remember !! Loved using the speaker phone to call my family when I was at the Park with a school group!! I think they had a prototype of a video phone as well ( which sounded soooo futuristic!) - carminaire 741.7 #241 4-10-15 7:04PMLikeReply

From Rocket to the Moon. I believe scenes inside the orbs depicted what it might be like to live on the moon, but I'm not sure. Originally sponsored by TWA, but sponsored by Douglas Aircraft in 63. Later became Flight to the Moon and then Mission Mars. The building is now Redd Rockett's Pizza Port. - MelodyMouse 6676.2 #13 4-5-15 8:38PMLike(3)Reply
Bumping to TBT Does anyone remember what can be seen in here. Searching the web I only see one other picture these orbs but no mention of what you see. I also found Rocket to the moon was an E-Ticket attraction✨👍. This is why I don't have any E-Ticket as souvenirs though. - E-Ticket 1393.5 #110 4-9-15 7:23AMLikeReply

#1968 Castle three Mickey Balloons. There is a red one floating away and looks like a blue one caught by castle. Photo credit friend Paul MacFarland
I can almost hear the chatter of voices, the laughter of the little boy running, the leaves swaying in the breeze, the smell of popcorn. Oh it gives me goosebumps! Disneyland is so timeless. Thanks for sharing! - DisneyFanZoe 1236.6 #129 3-12-15 11:31PMLike(4)Reply

The man in the brown sweater- I say he is definitely doing something unspeakable on that tree... 😐 - PirateHairNerd 401.1 #526 3-6-15 1:30AMLike(2)Reply
I say the man in brown is an environmentalist and this picture actually captured him hugging a tree. And the lady in yellow is an architect amazed by the sturdy construction of Disney lamp posts, and the pant suit was the inspiration for Zebra hot chocolate. - DisneyFanZoe 1236.6 #129 3-6-15 7:52PMLike(2)Reply
I love these older photos, and this one in particular just has so much going on that one could sit and observe it for quite some time. If I could only go back in time for a few minutes to ask the tree violator and the shoe scraper what is going on! - DarthTinkerbell 454.4 #451 3-6-15 5:18PMLikeReply

I remember having to snake back and forth in line on the left hand side of the building before entering the doors. I noticed on my last visit the area is still there but they didnt have it open...Im assuming because crowds were semi light. - kimdis 46.0 #4715 2-27-15 10:13AMLikeReply
