I just saw this, please add me, last jan was our first and only visit but we had so much fun watching our mini meet all the characters, she barely ate :) - amyb1076163.8 #2306 11-11-13 8:08PMLike(1)Reply

Please add me for IHEARTSIMBA50! I've yet to do the character dining, but I have definitely eaten at Plaza Inn lol One of my favorite moments was sitting on the patio during the fireworks this summer. When we watched them the previous trip, Dumbo didn't fly (which was my main reason for wanting to watch!). When we were on the patio, eating some yummy chicken AND being able to see Dumbo fly, it made for a great evening! - SPandEvLover2281.6 #42 11-13-13 2:06PMLikeReply

Please add me for your generous RAK. I have so many disney memories but I will share one that relates to IASW. Growing up my family (mom, dad, sister and I) would go to Disneyland every other year. We were very close to our grandparents, so my sister and I would always send postcards home and ask to call my grandparents while on vacation. On one of our first visits to Disneyland we were in tomorrowland and saw the huge family size phone booths. My sister and I begged and pleaded to use them to call our grandparents. I remember that phone call like it was yesterday. My sister and I were yelling at the same time trying to tell them everything we had seen and done. At the end of the call my grandfather asked if we had ridden IASW yet, it was his favorite ride. We had not, so of course that had to be our next stop. Every trip after that we had to call home at least once if not more from those phone booths. And every time my grandfather asked the same question and we always ran off to IASW. My grandparents are no longer with me, but every time I walk through tomorrowland I think of those phones and head over to IASW. It makes me feel a little closer to my grandparents and brings back wonderful memories. Sorry for the long post. Thanks. - SBsnowwhite486.2 #346 10-22-13 10:00AMLike(2)Reply
Hello, please add me :D my favorite Disneyland ride. Well, and the first ride for me the first time I went to Disneyland, it was 1980somerhing. I only went about 2 times during my childhood. Thankfully I married someone who really enjoys Disneyland. I've been spoiled ever since, at least once a year. Now, I make it our family tradition to ride It's a small world every time we go. cheers! :D - Aworldofcheer21.0 #5872 10-23-13 12:07AMLike(1)Reply
What a great RAK! My kiddos LOVE small world! They would be ectastic to win these! Please add me. My story, when my littlest first experienced the attraction I so enjoyed watching her eyes light up and bounce up and down on my lap. It was the first Disney song she ever sung and we listen to it often on car rides and around the house while playing. It's so cute when we go to the parks and I ask her where we should go 1st and she shouts "It-see!" (It's a small world) even though she can now say the full name of the attraction at 2, I never correct her because it always reminds me of that fist ride we took together. ::wipes tears:: Thanks again for this great RAK! - Duchess_SMK5089.4 #13 10-23-13 9:05AMLikeReply

Please add me for 2BeignetOrNot2Beignet. Her daughter would love these. My first day was a LONG time ago so I'll tell about my sons first. I'm hoping to gwt our first yearly passes once we move to cali in 8dys but now will need to wait and hear what the official changes are I have a severly disabled child without her gac card disney would be impossible sad to see some comments where others are happy of it going away so its fair...I would gladly trade places with you and your healthy child and wait in a long line...disneyland is the only place I can take her and actully enjoy the trip I would be more than happy to give a doctors note with her 15 diagnosis HoPE Disneyland figures it out I really was looking forward to meeting you all in the parks but if the changes are too drastic then disneyland will no longer be an option for my family - formadi24.1 #5542 9-19-13 1:39AMLikeReply

My first Disney movie was Snow White on a dubbed copy my grandpa got from a friend that worked at Imagineering that he played for me on one of the first VCR's available to the public. Add me for the first person to reply to this as I don't have any mini's that aren't of the fuzzy, four footed, variety. 👻 - X-WingNikki769.9 #182 7-18-13 12:28AMLike(1)Reply

Again you have stirred some amazing memories! The Tiki room was a must do as a child...my mom loved it; dad not so much - too much sitting! I went through a long period of time where it was a "meh" attraction. Only went if it was hot or I was tired. But lately, especially after going with folks who have never experienced it I am enjoying it much more. As for the Skyway - I miss it! It was a definite must do every visit. My dad and I got stuck on it once, halfway to the Matterhorn from Fantasyland. Someone had fallen against the emergency shut off switch, so we heard. We were up there about 45 min and my mother ( on the ground!) was frantic. But I loved it! Just watching the crowds, the skyline and being with my dad alone in such a magical place was wonderful. We sang Disney songs to pass the time and he occasionally would threaten to swing it. Everytime I walk by the somewhat hidden Fantasyland station, I smile at the memories. - Gia801.8 #169 6-23-13 1:29PMLike(4)Reply
My father used to sing, act and whistle professionally. His teacher was Marion Darlington, who is credited as doing many of the bird whistles in the Tiki Room. She also did the bird noises for Snow White, Cinderella, Bambi and many others. She was Alice's crying voice in Alice in Wonderland. I never met her, but my father talked about her a lot. I think she was instrumental in helping my dad get jobs. She accompanied my father and his family to Yosemite, where he sang and whistled during the fire fall they used to do at the Ahwanhnee Hotel. So, the Tiki Room brings back memories of my dad, as she taught him many of the bird calls and whistles from the movies she did. Every time we went in the Tiki Room, we had to hear the story of Marion Darlington. It got old, but now I appreciate the history so much. - snowwannab662.2 #220 6-23-13 1:57PMLike(2)Reply
I have always had a love for the Tiki Room. Now that I have minis, it's even more magical! - NellTinkerBell315.0 #698 6-23-13 5:10PMLikeReply
I loved the skyway, too, especially where it went through the Matterhorn. The Matterhorn was my favorite ride, but it was closed for a few trips in a row, so the next best thing was riding the skyway through it. - coffeesnob196.4 #1862 6-23-13 5:17PMLikeReply
