💎💎💎💎WINNER: Thumper13💎💎💎💎#TBT to the beginning of 60th Diamond Celebration. Now that it's over, all the diamonds have been removed and the castle now has its winter overlay, I feel it's OK to now share a little bit More...
Since some have asked, here's the backstory on how I got these: My son and I just happened to be in the parks a lot when the castle was first being transformed for the 60th Celebration, (March 2015). As they were adding the jewels to the roof I remembered my days working construction during summer college breaks. (When working on roofs stuff always falls off). With that in mind I calculated the trajectory from the height and angles of the roofs and rooted around in those areas on the ground. This being said, we never crossed over any fences or barriers, although one jewel was out of arms reach and required a telescoping pointer and piece of gum 😀. (Luckily they were still allowing selfie sticks in parks during this time and didn't blink at what i was bringing in). For my son it was a fun game to look for the jewels. At first I was giving what we found to CM's. When they eventually said to just keep them - I did. And there you have it. That's how I was able to procure these little pieces of history and can share one with you 😉. - Maddernhorn 1045.2 #203 11-4-16 8:04AMLike(10)Reply
No need to add me, I simply wanted to express how special these are. Such a precious piece of Disney history, full of love for many of us. - DarthTinkerbell 1382.3 #144 11-3-16 12:16PMLike(4)Reply
#TBT one of my favorite pictures from our last trip, not quite 2 weeks ago. I tried posting this before but I don't think it went through, it's not in my MW feed, I apologize if it did and this repeated. I'm technology challenged lol!
