Hi, Chub33ers! I just wanted to let you all know that I've discovered a great place to find quality workout gear--TJ Maxx (who would have thought?!). I found my Nike Tempo running shorts (which retail for $30-35) for only $10. I also found a pair of Asics Kayano 16 running shoes (which retail for $140-150) for only $70. I tried the same exact shoe on in Foot Action in the mall (Runner's World recommended it), but I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much money. It pays to dig for a bargain--check out your local discount stores, and you might actually be surprised at what you can find!

I have to laugh...I went to TJ Maxx 2 days ago and also saw the Asic Kayano 16 shoes which were also recommended to me at Runner's Lane after they measured my feet and watched me run. That's funny, MXPrincess. Yeah, I can't justify spending $140 on a single pair of sneakers, but $70 is a good price for me.
