He was a firefighter who took his young son to the game. His son looked around 5-6 yrs old.. He is seen in the video trying to grab his dad. Its so so so sad. The man was conscious following the fall and was alert... He died of cardiac arrest on the way to the hospital. - michelledork  658.3 #159 7-7-11 10:51PM Like  Reply

This story is so sad, especially during this time of year near the All Star Game. So sad for the little boy who had to see this happen. I've personally been to Arlington, where this game was played, and the railing is short compared to other ballparks. Also, they had another fan had a very similar fall just a year ago almost to the day! I feel bad for Josh Hamilton, an All Star, the player who threw the ball into the stand, just being a person who doing a good act for his home crowd. - BaseballMickey_CM  2861.7 #16 7-7-11 11:10PM Like  Reply
