So this may be a dumb question but remember I am brand new to Disney Land. When I was there I saw CM trading pins with people, and one of them looked like she didn't want to give up her pin. Do they have to give up their pins? Do they get pins every morning before the shift starts to help with the trading.

I always feel bad asking but one day I was in the shop right across from the jungle cruse and a CM(cute little girl )asked me "do u trade pins or just keep them all" I said I trade some of them and she showed me all of hers and said "pick anyone u want" how great was she!! - lisaw  96.3 #3067 7-8-11 12:42PM Like  Reply

I went into westward ho and my boyfriend asked her the riles of trading cause he didn't have any pins yet she told us they have to trade. They get the pins in the morning and they're not theirs. They normally have their own set but they dont show them while they're working they just have their cm set. A CM told me before that the pins they trade is not there's to keep it's Disney own so they have to trade.. Now you see some CM members that have 1 or 2 on there clothes that's there personal and they don't have to trade those.. & CM carry dif colors.. Ya every time we come into work we pick up lanyards and sometimes there is a bucket of new pins so we can put new ones on and they are not ours personally its Disneylands and if you ask to trade with us we will we have to trade with anyone who asks but its ok because they are not ours and even if we bring in our personal pins we still have to trade :-) hope that makes sense :-) I think the only reason someone might not trade is because it might not be their lanyard they could be watching it for someone but that rarely happens - Timechaser_cm  262.4 #889 7-8-11 1:00PM Like  Reply
