Back from my first long "run." Did 5 miles but choose not to disclose my time due to my disappointment! Haha I never realized how far that was!! Haha But I received a sweet text from my love saying he was proud of me and a mail man at my 2nd mile said I was doing good! So that helped. With a lot of prayer I finished. Haha
Good for you!! Very proud of you and all those runners out there. I can't run very far or very fast. ;) - PixarDreamer245.8 #1043 7-30-11 4:51PMLike Reply
Long runs don't need to be fast. In fact, they should be at a comfortable, "conversation" pace. If you can run 7 or 8 miles, you will do great in the half marathon. Good luck with your training! - DoleWhipComa14.4 #5758 7-30-11 5:02PMLike Reply
@pixardreamer- thanks so much!!!!! @dolewhipcoma - yeah my 5 miles was a mixture of jogging and walking. I definately can't run 7-8 miles straight yet. :-( But all I can do is train and pray! - dopeyluv111.9 #2872 7-30-11 8:28PMLike Reply
