Happy mid-autumn Moon Festival everyone! Here's my homemade hidden Mickey mooncake from last year (the holiday snuck up on me this year and I didn't get a chance to make them) and the Winnie the Pooh mug RAK SupremeLeader gave me. Eat something sweet and gaze at the beauty of the harvest moon.

@cyndaws they'll all be majorly discounted tomorrow at your local Chinese bakery if you want to try one. They're kind of like dense, sweet hockey pucks. The ones on top I made using a non-bake crust recipe and were filled with chocolate, Oreo and lotus seed paste. Since my daughter is allergic to nuts, I feel like making them myself is the safest way to avoid contamination. - Polkadobo372.1 #383 9-12-11 9:11PMLike Reply

So cool! In my dorm building, the faculty in residence is Chinese so he hosted a moon cake social for us residents last night. It was fun, and I really like moon cakes now! - ladylikesdisney926.7 #96 9-13-11 12:54PMLike Reply
Sweet! Did you noticed how cool the moon looked last night behind all the clouds? I took a pic but it didn't come out that well. - PrincessDuckie590.8 #190 9-13-11 12:58PMLike Reply
