I do like the artwork, but I don't like that it's only in Blue Ray. - TonjaC278.1 #741 9-19-11 1:04PMLike Reply
I love the art work but the changes Lucas made to the films made me not want to buy it anymore :( - TheAlternate30.8 #4327 9-19-11 1:11PMLike Reply
I LOVE the poster and art of Star Wars. I still need to get my Revenge of the Jedi poster reframed and probably buy an episode 2 poster soon. I honestly want the whole saga in poster order on my walls. - shadowgamer1954.3 #37 9-19-11 1:23PMLike Reply
I've watched all 6 movies out of the set now and honestly people hyped those changes too much. Unless you are watching with the intent of noticing, you really don't notice. The story and the colors far outweight Vader's additional no - TinkerBelleMC19.0 #5154 9-19-11 1:23PMLike Reply
that is great, we have all of them already so I have to talk the BF into the need to get the new set. - Nettenutt325.9 #492 9-19-11 1:42PMLike Reply
@tinkerbelle the point isn't that you notice or not, its that he keeps changing things that dont need it. Like the saying "if its not broke, don't fix it." Oh, and Han shot first! - shadowgamer1954.3 #37 9-19-11 1:45PMLike Reply
Tell me... What is your opinion of the changes that George Lucas made to the blue-ray versions? - disneygeeksf4.5 #11493 9-19-11 1:49PMLike Reply
If talking to me, the only change I see that was warrented was yoda to cgi in episode 1. Vader saying "no" in Episode 6 completely ruins that scene in my opinion, it worked perfectly without it. The blinking ewoks bug me. Id be fine if he have the option to play the theatrical ORIGINAL version. - shadowgamer1954.3 #37 9-19-11 1:57PMLike Reply
I haven't seen the new changes, but I'm excites to see them from what I read, I've grown up w star wars my whole life so I like seeing little new things George thinks of now and then just like the little changes they always make at Disneyland :) - Jessgiac8.6 #7260 9-19-11 2:01PMLike Reply
If he wanted to add or change things, he should have put all the things he cut from the theatrical release back in. Such as Luke talking to Biggs on Tatooine, Luke looking up and watching Leias ship fighting the star destroyer etc. All these changes make me think Star Wars was a fluke and the version I grew up with and loved was a rough draft. - shadowgamer1954.3 #37 9-19-11 2:11PMLike Reply
Haha from all the complaints, I have a felling after the hype of this release goes away he's going to realise a set that does just that, maybe even the originals, with out the new editing, on blue ray too - Jessgiac8.6 #7260 9-19-11 2:14PMLike Reply
This might be to sentimental but part of the reason I loved stars wars was because it gave me the same feeling all of Disney's work did, wasn't Disneyland pretty much a rough draft, star wars wasnt meant to be started or finished just like Disneyland George keeps finding new ways for newer, and older generations to enjoy star wars, ya I still miss the original potc but love jack being apart of it now, I hate the new flotting fortune teller ball in hm but my little sister loves it :) I'm glad George isn't just throwing old projects in the closet and starting new ones but that's just me :) - Jessgiac8.6 #7260 9-19-11 2:19PMLike Reply
