I love the visuals in Avatar; if Disney is doing it, I have faith that its gonna be good. - Mr. Fredrickson 120.4 #3063 9-21-11 5:15PMLikeReply
I dnt know about this yet...i thnk gracie is right..taken away the disney feel...why not dalmations or hercules or other chracters we dnt see..maybe it will b amazing.we will see...im sure it will b above an beyond - akmouser73 139.1 #2758 9-21-11 5:15PMLikeReply
I liked the movie but I do wish they would add something Disney before exploring other films...but then again I love star tours and the addition to the Disney family in that sense... - MarshaMouse 4073.5 #24 9-21-11 5:21PMLikeReply
I don't feel like Avatar is that well ingrained into our culture yet, to make a complete land, although as the highest grossing movie and with such a lush environment to create from, it could be cool. - Zooter 1384.4 #98 9-21-11 6:54PMLikeReply
Avatar has nothing to do with Disney and has no place in any of the parks. This is something that belongs at Universal. And at Animal Kingdom of all places! It's sic-fi nonsense that if anything would belong at Hollywood Studios. - DiscoSteve 272.5 #1029 9-21-11 6:55PMLikeReply
I do want to see how they go with it. I mean if any company can do it Disney can. The movie was visually experience of lifetime so far. But what I really liked reading on your link was the Nick Cage article. - Cricket 224.4 #1561 9-21-11 7:20PMLikeReply
Well, Star wars and indiana Jones have nothing to do with the parks either... - TikiJOSEsWingman 332.4 #649 9-21-11 7:21PMLikeReply
They ought to take the lesson they learned with California Adventure. The public spoke up against it by way of low attendance, forcing the Imaginears back to the proverbial drawing board. The public demanded "DISNEY," and thanks to a lengthy and costly revision and remodel, we get to pay for it. This is the worst idea they've had...ever. - susieQzee 548.5 #324 9-21-11 7:36PMLikeReply
I hated avatar and have zero interest in a live theme park experience of it. - Dumbomom 308.5 #769 9-21-11 7:38PMLikeReply
Another reason not to go to Florida. - scoot 279.0 #956 9-21-11 7:48PMLikeReply
love the movie but hate this idea, doesn't matter as long as it doesn't come to dl. - missgoofy 371.6 #547 9-21-11 7:50PMLikeReply
Definitely agree with some of the above...if Disney is doing the project, I'm sure it'll be amazing...BUT...Avatar does not scream 'Disney' or 'Disney magic' to me.. - London-In-Wonderland 450.9 #424 9-21-11 7:53PMLikeReply
I think the world of pandora definitely screams disney magic. Supernatural life and fantastic colorful creatures, some good some bad. Beautiful landscapes. - xsdesign 421.7 #457 9-21-11 7:56PMLikeReply
Well think about it......when my family and I watched this film we were all thinking the same thing. Pocahantus!!! It reminded us so much of pocahantus. Could be good. - jerzanemama 117.7 #3107 9-21-11 7:58PMLikeReply
I have doubts about how popular this will be. The movie was popular, but I have to wonder if that mythology will have the persistent effect on pop culture that Star Wars and Indy have. Without that long lasting impact on culture, people will just wonder what it's doing in a Disney park. - mistereeyore 211.5 #1740 9-21-11 8:05PMLikeReply
Yea I hated this movie and I have no idea what they were thinking when deciding this. How ever I am curios to see how this is gonna turn out! - stevo222 10.4 #9194 9-21-11 8:53PMLikeReply
No thanks, I hated the movie and won't buy it. Would not visit this either... - Pintraderswife 466.6 #399 9-21-11 9:14PMLikeReply
I guess this means I need to brush up on my Navi. - Beckerina 166.6 #2330 9-26-11 11:57PMLikeReply
What she said ^^^^ noooooooo >_< they should bring pride rock! - CMWalker 341.4 #622 9-27-11 12:08AMLikeReply
No it does not belong in disney parks. Avatar isn't a good movie, it just has really good graphics. If disney is going to add a new part to animal kingdom they should do Pocahontas. - princessJordan 498.8 #372 9-27-11 1:08AMLikeReply
Avatar is Ferngully minus the singing/Dances with Wolves & probably Pocahontas. But with blue people. Might as well call it the Smurfs - cesium55 531.6 #338 9-27-11 1:13AMLikeReply
I understand the star wars and Indy things...about how they aren't exactly disney either. But from what I understand is this avatar thing is like a whole new land not just one ride. It's not like they made star wars land or anything (but that would be pretty great). As long as they keep that stuff away from Cali I'm ok. - Jillian 767.1 #207 9-27-11 1:16AMLikeReply
Initially I'm all against this, but some of you have reminded us that Star Wars and Indy are not Disney creations (i sometimes forget they just feel Disney now) either and i can't imagine the parks without them. I guess we will have to keep an open mind about this. - jjdq 338.0 #632 9-27-11 1:18AMLikeReply
