****EDIT: Final week! How did you do? Did you meet your goals? Congratulations on a job well done, MWers! We are one month into 2012, and one month closer to a healthier, happier you!**** Marathon Mondays! A marathon seems like so much work, but it’s easy if you take it in small steps! Track your jog/walk/elliptical mileage each week and at the end of the month, you will be able to say that you walked/jogged at least a whole marathon (26.2 miles). Some of us are currently on cardio training programs, but you can tailor this challenge to your own needs: whatever fitness level you are, just make a marathon-related goal for yourself (examples: walk one marathon; walk/jog 2 marathons; jog a marathon; or walk a marathon and jog a half marathon). Try to choose a goal that will challenge you, but won’t overwhelm you. 26.2 miles will average to under 1 mile per day, so this should be do-able for most people. Mileage posting days will be 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, and 1/30, and I will bump this post each Monday to do so. I think that the easiest and least complicated way to do this will be to first comment with your goal this week, and then each Monday, reply with your previous week’s mileage. (I’ll make an example post so that this makes sense!). Good luck everyone!

Don't feel like you have to do equal mileage each week. We all get busy or get a cold or have something come up.
