A CM told me on Saturday that some CMs are stopping to pull scrappers out of circulation. Witnessed it first hand too. *le sigh - mhott   87.0 #4047 1-9-12 10:32AM Like(1)  Reply
Those and the rough edges are the biggest signs for fakes. Thanks for getting the word out. :) - theDebsterM   138.2 #3098 1-9-12 9:00AM Like  Reply

There's a handful of the alphabet pins that are fake as well.... The "round ones" - VinylSteve   515.4 #484 1-9-12 10:20AM Like  Reply
Sucks that people take the fun out of trading for their own profit. Anything for a buck it seems. - Joshante   15.0 #9625 1-9-12 10:24AM Like  Reply
I feel bad because I think a lot of people that continue to trade the pins don't realize they are fake. I try to discard any pin I get that has rough edges or pits or the pattern stops on the back. It can be really hard to tell sometimes, though. I'm sure I've been guilty of accidentally trading a fake one. - LaneSparrow316   847.0 #268 1-9-12 10:41AM Like  Reply
If we suspect a pin is fake, would we check online on the official Disney pintrading website to see if it's a real pin? My friend gave me a pin she bought on EBay and it looks like the Wicked Queen post you put, but it doesn't have the deep grooves or rough edges. - Aurora_2020   263.9 #1371 1-9-12 10:48AM Like  Reply
Try I look there and also add info to it. Good luck! - PrincessDaisy_FU2Rcm  367.6 #724 1-9-12 11:36AM
I will check that out! Thank you!!😄 - Aurora_2020  263.9 #1371 1-9-12 11:38AM
Thanks for the heads up! Your posts make me look even harder at pins and take extra caution when trading - rbeezy   703.0 #340 1-9-12 11:52AM Like  Reply
