Ok so my husband and I decided it would be better for my daughter and myself to stay in San Diego for 4 months while my husband deploys. So we would move back home to California and save money on rent, utilites, groceries etc, but my friend thinks i should buy a year pass again but is it goin to be worth it for me and my daughter for only 3-4 months and us goin maybe two to three times a month at most? We will be here from end of feb to beginning of June. I would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks!
You can have play dates with other MW Moms :) - UncoolBunny  70.9 #3395 1-19-12 8:56AM Like(1)  Reply
2-3 times a month at $80 a ticket $160-$240 for you (and thats not park hopping) per month. I would say its worth it. What part of Diego will you be in? I love it down here :)  - tiggertwin  317.8 #532 1-19-12 8:16AM Like  Reply
My parents live in oceanside and we've had passes for the past 6 years with the exception of this year because my husband got orders to Florida. And my best friend and her son who is four months older than my daughter have passes and we used to take the kids every week. So a big part of me wants to do it but the other part kind of hesisitant since it's only three to four months we will be here - Queenof2princesses  254.7 #965 1-19-12 8:59AM Like  Reply
Well, you are moving home to save $$$...DL passes are a great value, though. I guess you'd have to think about the money you'd spend on other activities if you didn't go to DL a few times a month (gymnastics/dance lessons, Chuck E. Cheese, shopping, lunches, etc) and see how those two numbers compare. I'm willing to bet that DL is worth it :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar  436.3 #285 1-19-12 9:06AM Like  Reply
As long as you are a SoCal resident you can buy a pass and do the monthly payment option. Then when you need to leave and can't use it anymore, just cancel it. I'm pretty sure you can do that. But you could double check. - CMJenKWorth  122.9 #2685 1-19-12 9:12AM Like  Reply
You can't cancel them...the hubs had to still pay his till he finally told AP hotline CM's that he was now a CM. - UncoolBunny  70.9 #3395 1-19-12 9:18AM
No, they won't let you cancel--I'm sure people would try to buy an AP for one trip then immediately cancel it. - Spoonful_O_Sugar  436.3 #285 1-19-12 9:21AM
Would they let me cancel if I showed them proof of my husbands orders? - Queenof2princesses  254.7 #965 1-19-12 9:30AM Like  Reply
No, it's a contract - 415beachgirl  469.0 #259 1-19-12 9:31AM
I just checked my AP contract. It says that you can't cancel the contract for any reason.. - Kimmehface  196.0 #1685 1-19-12 10:00AM
No, sorry :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar  436.3 #285 1-19-12 10:04AM
It's funny... An old friend got out of the contract. She only had her pass for 6 months before canceling when se wasn't going anymore - LittleGreenAlien  244.8 #1056 1-19-12 10:35AM Like  Reply
