#8 MW101 w/SIC:: {Posting to the right lands} We are noticing a lot of posts lately that are being posted to the wrong land. Please be aware of where your post is going. If you mainly intend on posting to the Hub, please make sure The Hub is your default land in your profile (shown in photo 1). When using the 'post' option on the top right, please make sure to select the land it should go to (photo 2). In my last post on finding the "Lands" in MW it explains what should be posted in them. You can also find an explanation in the Rules and FAQs. Please be sensitive to this topic, Admin created these lands for a reason and should used as such. If not it makes more work for Admin and others who's time would be better spent improving the app in other ways. If you have any question/or issues on where your post is going, please use the 'Post' option on the top right (you dont have to post a photo to use it), and select the land before submitting. If I really went over this in detail, it would be a loooong post. So let's do a Q and A on this, if you are confused on anything or are having problems with this. Thank you so much!! 😊 📢📢 UPDATE::: I added Admins description of the lands from the Rules and FAQs, in the comments of this post. Please read over them. It does say that if something is posted to the wrong land, it CAN be removed.

Thanks SIC for doing these! Everyone should be defaulted to Disneyland Talk, which is where you should stay if you do not like non-Disney talk. Do you know how long I have been posting wrong but not knowing??!!! I have been posting Roll Calls in what I thought was real time bc that is what I clicked on Real Time to get to the Real Time land. I would do a post but didn't know I had to change to land on my post!!!!! Mimmy pointed it out to me the other day!!!! So, I am sorry for always posting real time wrong!!! When you use the "Post" button, I have found that it is best if the last step is to change the land. Even if it says "Hub" at first, after typing a comment or adding a pic the land will default to DL Talk. I agree when I was at the park last weekend I would change the land before I uploaded a picture.. I didn't realize I had to recheck it after I uploaded the picture because it defaults back to disneyland talk. Step one: do not use the same acct bc your pic will not change right away, all you posts and pic will still be there to view and your profile numbers will still remain. I think this is my biggest pet peeve. Thank you for posting this. I hope people start posting in the right spot. This is the default Land of the Lounge – if you want to hear Disney Talk ONLY then stay in this Lounge and don’t go into The Hub. PLEASE NOTE: From the mobile apps, the default Land when you use Post to the Lounge or the Post button is Disneyland Talk – so you need to change this if you are posting something non-Disney. IF you have any doubt that your post is Disney related, then you should post to The Hub. The Hub is where you can post non-Disney related items (but please do not post non-Disney pictures). The Hub aggregates ALL conversations in MouseWait and puts them into one place so you can follow all conversations easily.
