Canceled our trip this week because grandma is sick and needs to stay home:(I'm really proud of my boys because they took the news so well:) The trip was part birthday present and part reward for perfect attendance this year so far and getting fantastic grades this semester. It's the only time of the year we can do a trip with more than one day in the parks with out missing school that also fits into my work schedule and custody schedule. I just feel horrible I had to cancel it. Being a mom is tough:(
You sound like a great mom with great kids. Hope grandma feels better.
