I just was wondering what "Legends, myths, rumors" do you guys know? ex. basketball court in the Matterhorn.. im facinated by this stuff :-)
Legends should not be worn as pants. The myth in the Jungle rain forest is toxic. rumors was my favorite album in high school.

Sleeping Beauty's Castle has a real working drawbridge, but it’s only been lowered  twice—on opening day in 1955, and to celebrate the newly remodeled Fantasyland in 1983. - iFramedRogerRabbit   1957.6 #104 3-25-12 9:04PM Like(7)  Reply

I think one of the best is the body under the stairs on TOT. Can't really see it without a light. I looked a few times then used my cell phone flashlight and there it was!! - Chadco   310.9 #975 3-26-12 4:10PM Like(4)  Reply

I have a lot! But one good one to look for next time is in HM during the ball room scene. If you look behind you there is a wheel chair and apparently a woman asked if she could have something of her deceased husband in the HM since it was his favorite ride and decided to put a wheel chair. It's folded up and sits to the side but it's creepy to look back and actually see it! - AshleyLynn22   791.2 #287 3-25-12 11:40PM Like(1)  Reply
yeah, that was creepy when I saw it. Haven't seen it in a while though - BaseballMickey  9141.7 #14 3-25-12 11:45PM
Was it you that told us about it?! - AshleyLynn22  791.2 #287 3-25-12 11:46PM
maybe, but its been posted here a number of times - BaseballMickey  9141.7 #14 3-25-12 11:47PM
Oh alright. I can never remember anything. Lol. - AshleyLynn22  791.2 #287 3-25-12 11:48PM
The wheelchair is actually there in case of an emergency stop. If the ride stops and they need to walk out guests they have wheelchairs in specific areas of the attraction for guests who may need them. - lostgirl7988  697.8 #341 3-26-12 2:24PM
Definitely going to look out for this next time I ride. Even if it's for emergency exits, it's still creepy because it's inside the HM - Oinker34  1820.5 #112 3-26-12 2:50PM
I saw it last time I was.there it is creepy! This was few weeks ago - mine_mine_mine  44.4 #5427 3-26-12 11:56PM
There is a rumour that Walt Disney is frozen underneath either POTC or the Castle. Totally untrue though. He was cremated (sorry if I spelt it wrong) and his ashes are now at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. There's also the Peter Pan one I got. Well basically, the last time you see Hook in the ride (which is when he's being chomped on by Tic Toc), his hook is in the wrong hand. It's supposed to be on his left hand as originally stated in the book. - MissAlice   343.5 #795 3-26-12 7:28PM Like(1)  Reply
There were rumors that he was frozen and placed under Cal Arts! - NurseJennJillO  314.6 #948 3-27-12 7:59AM
Don't tell me that!! I am going there in the fall. I may have Disney zombie nightmares! Lol - ScarLover  325.0 #886 3-27-12 8:50AM
I had read on a Haunted Mansion fan site that there supposedly really is a room (not a hotel room) which you can rent for weddings and parties in the Haunted Mansion for a pretty penny. However, I asked a cast member about it and they were perplexed as to what I was talking about. The site said Disneyland...I double checked but I'm wondering if they meant WDW. I have been to WDW once so don't know beans about it/it's special offers. I chalked this one up to rumor... - Aquata   292.3 #1101 3-25-12 9:15PM Like  Reply
Yes, I have heard that some parties/fundraisers have been held in the HM. Its a weird set up, but its possible - BaseballMickey  9141.7 #14 3-25-12 11:11PM
Seriously?! Oh that is neat to know! I had my honeymoon at Disney but I would have given all my toes to get married at the HM. Thanks for clearing that up!! :) - Aquata  292.3 #1101 3-26-12 12:01AM
the disneyland railroad and mark twain run on biofuel, which in human talk, is french fry oil from the restaurants in DL - DonaldMissingPants   304.1 #1021 3-25-12 11:22PM Like  Reply
When DL used to sell soft frozen lemonade, the leftovers in the machine at the end of the day would be poured into buckets, stored and used the next day. Yuck  - Polkadobo   385.8 #676 3-25-12 11:31PM Like  Reply
oooo i REALLY hope thats not true.... - akeleh  293.5 #1093 3-25-12 11:31PM
Oh, it is SO true. I worked in the dept that sold it. I always thought that was kind of gross. - Polkadobo  385.8 #676 3-25-12 11:34PM
why is that bad? its frozen anyway - DonaldMissingPants  304.1 #1021 3-25-12 11:35PM
I don't think this is so bad... From a food-safety perspective, there is no issue here unless they are transferring the product in an unsanitary way... - cynDOLEwhip  1175.7 #186 3-25-12 11:37PM
i mean i understand why theyd do it to save money and to not waste food etc but theres still part of knowing that they do that that makes me cringe a little. honestly im not even sure why. it just does. - akeleh  293.5 #1093 3-25-12 11:38PM
Anything that gets dropped in there by accident gets stuck in there for the next day. Technically the buckets should all be clean and the inside of the machine clean but the fact they just keep reusing it is just kinda ick. Especially when you open a bucket in the morning and find a paper towel inside. I've noticed they don't sell it anymore (I really was a fan of it before I started selling it). - Polkadobo  385.8 #676 3-25-12 11:39PM
If they aren't cleaning things in between uses, I agree that that is pretty gross... - cynDOLEwhip  1175.7 #186 3-25-12 11:43PM
I work in a restaurant and we save our lemonades and some other things for the next day. We label everything so we know that what we are using isn't like 2 weeks old or something like that. I think as long as the machine was cleaned every time and that the frozen lemonade had enough of a turn over rate so it wasn't 3 weeks old or anything crazy like that, then it should of been fine. - kayceeb  168.4 #2598 3-25-12 11:52PM
But I guess it does sound a little gross in theory haha - kayceeb  168.4 #2598 3-25-12 11:53PM
It's like the waters of iasw! Some parts per million of the original would remain, therefore some portion of your frozen lemonade could be weeks old!!!! Ewwww! 😝😜 - bluefairy  643.8 #370 3-26-12 1:36PM

WHEREis that Eeyore sign? Cannot see it - misschurro  9880.8 #12 3-26-12 3:25PM
Eeyore sign is definitely hard to see. It's in the "projector room" above the projector. - Chadco  310.9 #975 3-26-12 4:01PM
I had to ask the CM in the projector room to point out the Eeyore sign. It is really hard to see in the dark so she busted out a flashlight. Otherwise I would have never seen it! - PirateQueenBriezy  347.9 #783 3-26-12 4:09PM
Eeyore took us like ten full trips to finally see! It's in there for sure! - Footguy  12.0 #11015 3-26-12 4:10PM
ok.. well i will be on trip 10. hope i see it! - misschurro  9880.8 #12 3-26-12 4:12PM
when they first built haunted mansion, the mansion was built and stayed empty for SIX years while they finished other things  for the ride and other attractions to be close by, it finally opened in 1969!.

Not sure if it's true, but my Sis told me she read somewhere that on the partner's statue, Walt is wearing a relationship ring signifying that he is "single". I've never heard of it, does anyone know anything about it? - Simbaholic   30.4 #6508 3-26-12 6:44PM Like  Reply
