Anyone ever board their dog at the kennel while on vacation? Thinking of taking my 15 yr old JRT with us to CA in June for the week we're there for the Dbacks/Angels series. Trying to find out if its cheaper bringing him with us and board him at the park during the day or leaving him with the vet. The hotel we're staying at just recently became pet-friendly and he's okay by himself in the room when we go to the games but not if we spend time at DL and DCA too.
I started to read and I felt bad for all the people reading this that leave their pets at the kennel... And then I litteraly laughed out loud and could picture it... Good one. - verofern 135.0 #2521 4-6-12 12:59AM
I think you should bring him with you... At least at the end of the day he can see you. - verofern135.0 #2521 4-6-12 1:00AMLike Reply
Most hotels don't allow you to leave your pet in the room unattended. And keep in mind, the fireworks are fairly loud and dogs generally don't like that. - Mimmy1405.6 #57 4-6-12 1:11AMLike Reply
Just what I was going to say, pet friendly means your dog can be at the hotel when only when you are there. Do you have any doggie daycare/kennels in your area? Ours is great - bugsmom1208 211.1 #1471 4-6-12 2:31AM
I'm going to pay someone to stay at my home for my Buddy while we go for a week. It's my understanding that the kennel at DL is crating only . You will need to schedual your time to take them on potty breaks and all🐶 - My_HappyPlace65.6 #3479 4-6-12 5:49AMLike Reply
