Unless August isn't his name, he can't be pinocchio. If you notice, all if the names in our world have a hint as to who they really are. Sidney Glass, Mary Margaret BLANCHard (i could go on but you get the idea). Pinocchio means pine nut, little wood, little pine. So Pinocchio will likely have a name that relates to that.
