So after a week away from the gym I finally went today with the injured husband. Did a walk/run for 2 miles in 30 minutes. I'm just glad that my pace is still under the 16 minute mile! So, I think I am in danger of overtraining. I love running and how it makes me feel. But I'm feeling some stress in my knees and hips lately. So, I am going to force myself to stick to a more realistic and healthy training schedule and incorporate cross training back into my routine. So I'll be running on Tuesday and Thursday and doing my kettlebell workout on Monday-Wednesday. Just checking in again for my 1/2 Marathon training update! Friday's walk/run, did 3 miles in 42 minutes. Average pace 14:02 each mile. I accidentally ran 8 miles today. I had just decided to run for a little while but I ended up running until the pavement stopped and when I finally made it back home, my GPS said I had gone 8 miles without stopping! Woo hoo!!
