Comparing the grand to the paradise is like comparing pennies to quarters. Yes, they are both coins, but one is bigger and more than the other. If you have high standards than you are not going to like the paradise specifically if you love the grand. If you would lik a cute room, with a comfy bed, a warm shower and something where you save a LOT of money, then you will be fine. I have stayed on the concierge floor at the grand on my grandparents dime, and it was nice, but I prefer to spend my time at the park, not at the hotel, so when my family and I went, and we stayed at a normal room at the paradise, I was more than happy. This coming from a girl who prefers to save her money and stay at some no name hotels in order to spend mire moeny for disney. - jamielynn   163.3 #2694 5-8-12 8:54AM Like  Reply
thanks Jamie, thats VERY helpful. I'll try it out. the concierge level wasn't much more than the standard room and i thought a view would be nice for a change. i guess i'll go into this with not so "Grand" expectations. lol :) - LolatheSlush  247.5 #1543 5-8-12 9:02AM
I think you will be fine! Just as I said, don't expect it to be the grand. There's definitely a reason it's cheaper! It's really a nice hotel though, after all, it is a Disney hotel! Have a fantastic trip and enjoy your time! - jamielynn  163.3 #2694 5-8-12 9:28AM
