LOL!! I've got until October so... I have been meaning to eat out less and not have as much Starbucks (did you hear they're opening one at DCA?!?!), so that might help. - Mimmy 1442.3 #93 5-18-12 9:32PMLike(1)Reply
I will probably cut back on my Starbucks 😜 and other frivolous purchases in my daily life. During our trips, we will be buying way less souvenirs (aka vinylmations) and expensive meals and drinks; we might even be driving our smaller, less comfortable and less reliable 😱 (but more fuel efficient) car to get there, and we will definitely be lowering the standards on our hotels. Super 8, here we come! We haven't used our passes much this year, compared to previous years, but we did visit enough to make them worthwhile. I love DL, and I can find ways to sacrifice in order to keep my pass and know that if we are able to slip away for a weekend, we can. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 544.5 #323 5-18-12 9:35PMLikeReply
I will probably stop buying food in the parks. I'm just gonna put a feeding tube in my side, and blend up hot pockets, middle ramen (Top Ramen is to rich for my blood) and spaghetti o's. I will pre portion the concoction out of the blender and shoot it in through the tube throughout the day. - Ricko19 818.1 #193 5-18-12 9:39PMLikeReply
I would love to get an AP again...will definitely take some more budgeting though! Disney is so worth it IMO! ✨ - MinnieMousewife 766.6 #206 5-18-12 9:40PMLikeReply
Cut back on eating at the parks n bring lil lunch .for us to renew next Feb it will be $5,200 for the 8 of us ugh but we will pay it - Tinky76 318.8 #716 5-18-12 10:05PMLikeReply
We have a Disney Visa that you earn points. We pay the balance every month and don't carry anything on it so we don't get charged interest. We are going to make even more of an effort to use it for anything and everything to bank as many points as we can. After that...Um..there is now 5 of us as my youngest turns 3 next month so it's going to cost us a ton. But, I did the math and it's still only a little less then 5 trips when you take the price of 5 1 day parkhoppers and parking for those trips. We always go more than 5 trips a year so it's worth it for me and my sanity to renew. Thankful that I could renew today for next year so we don't ave to worry about it until next year. - Autoalice 158.5 #2445 5-18-12 10:17PMLikeReply
If i continue to travel down 4 times a year it's still cost effective for me to buy two annual passes, so lookin over stuff if I stop eating lunch out everyday and actually eat a healthy sandwhich its still doable thankfully! - madsdad 1800.8 #72 5-18-12 10:38PMLikeReply
Here are a few of my frugal tips: Buy things only on sale and use coupons. The receipt usually has how much is saved. Take that money saved and put it in the Disney jar. I saved $44 on groceries last week. I thrift shop for clothing. I walk more than I drive. I take my breakfast, lunch, and snacks to work (12 hours). Drink more filtered water, no bottled water, add a slice of lemon. No Starbucks except 1time per year(pumpkin spice latte on Halloween). Make my coffee at home. Lots more, but those are some of my best and easiest. - Sugarbuzz 143.8 #2663 5-22-12 11:29AMLikeReply
No longer feeding our three children. (ok-ok, they don't live with us) - alankeno 57.8 #4142 5-22-12 11:41AMLikeReply
I'm only going to eat 10 churros a month instead of 12. That should make up for the price difference. - ScubaSteve028 835.7 #187 5-22-12 11:49AMLikeReply
