In doing some research, it seems this still kinda makes sence. Im a premium ap holder and in sept mine and my wifes pass expire. Even more so if I want to renew I am going to have to buy an ap for my son who will be 3....so i did the math. If I buy 3 premium aps it will be 1947...(alot) so I make payments. 500 down and 120 a month. (still alot!) But heres the deal. 15 maybe more for parking. And lets say I only park in the park half the time. And I went 60 times in a year (you know alot of us go more) so about 30 times in the structure at 15 bucks ( consider this premium ap instant savings) plus discounts in the park. Well lets just say I saved 200 in ap discounts. So that brings 1947 to 1297 for 3. Which brings the total for 3 premium aps to $22 a visit for 60 visits in a year. Which is $7 per person per visit for 60 visits. Thats visiting 5times a month so. If u can afford the bulk up front. This pass is still very affordable. So im saving now. :) hope this, helps. And please correct my math if im wrong. :) thanks
Sorry, I avoid math on Sundays - Bo22  347.5 #433 5-20-12 2:30PM Like(6)  Reply

I have visited the park 76 times and I just became a pass holder in Feb. My kids enjoy it so much we visit a lot. I have saved a ton and will continue to do so if our visits are as frequent as they are now. - RickChavez  2340.6 #28 5-20-12 1:57PM Like  Reply
It was an experiment i,started. I saved all my recipts and kept track on how much ive saved. In parking and discounts. im at $11 dollars a visit this year. And I still have 4months left :) - Jfigg23  254.7 #992 5-20-12 2:10PM
And here's a tip if you can't afford a premium (which I can't anymore, and that's ok) and you don't want to pay for parking. You can park at Downtown Disney for free for 3 hours, and if you get it validated you get 2 extra hours. Even though I currently have a premium pass I always park at DD to skip the hassle of loading the stroller on the tram. You can usually get it validated for free at House of Blues (sometimes I'll have to buy a candy bar) AND if you go over a little bit it's only $6 and hour. It's a good alternative for people who don't do all day trips, like myself. - erincredible  201.7 #1641 5-20-12 2:07PM Like  Reply

Keep in mind that the merchandise discounts will be ending in December( or at least that's what I read) not sure if it's all passes or just the premiums. - Keala76  293.5 #668 5-20-12 2:22PM Like  Reply
I agree on walking from structure to park entrance, try it! It's fun and not that long. - SmallWorldFan  5.0 #10754 5-20-12 3:21PM Like  Reply
Oh I have, many times. Just something different if your pass doesn't include parking or if you're 4 months pregnant and have a wild 18 month old in tow :) - erincredible  201.7 #1641 5-20-12 4:21PM
