Hello friends, first post in Chub33. So just wanted to let you know I am DONE with just sitting around and making the wrong eating choices. I went to the endrocronologist (sp?), had 11 vials taken out to do some intensive blood tests. Today I found out I am borderline Type 2 so I am going to start Metforim. The rest of my hormones are in the ok range. I did the cortisol saliva test and that hormone is within range too. She wanted to make sure that there were not going to be any inbalance issues that needed to be fixed before I start my healthy life. Thankfully my cholestorol (sp?) and related are in normal range too. So now it's up to me. I'm going to put it out there. I weigh 228 pounds, yup, it's public now. But that's ok because my losses are going to be public too. :-) I've did Weight Watchers twice, not sure if I am going to do that again. I was successful before, maybe I will just do the online version. The dr. said my goal is 10,000 steps a day. I'm not sure how many miles that is. I still need to come up with a plan, but I wanted to do this while it's fresh in my mind. I have a lot to live for and I might not get another chance to live a healthy life again.
