I know someone posted about stater bros still having annual passports at old prices. But then was told they wouldn't actually scan and go thru. Well... I tried it and Bam! I'm set :) no problem with activation. back says it's valid thru 12/31/2012

That was me... Was told by a CM that they wouldn't work but if you were able to buy it then they have to honor it. So my friend you're set. My guess is Disney probably backed down from all the negative feedback on the sudden price hike... As such I retract my previous statement.
