I wonder; if Rapunzel is the last official Disney princess, are they now gonna start a Pixar princess brand?
Has the line for Rapunzel gotten shorter since Merida came to town? - LaneSparrow316846.9 #106 5-30-12 1:49PMLike(1) Reply
not really, still the same.. - Stitch_Legacy 3472.1 #9 5-30-12 1:51PM

I heard no more princess movies and a shift away from fairy tales in general. Considering how much of a flop John Carter was, I think Disney needs to stick with what they do best. - CaliCanuck511.7 #228 5-30-12 2:19PMLike(1) Reply
It's a bummer that movie flopped, it really was a good flick. Major marketing fail. - cynDOLEwhip 744.1 #137 5-30-12 2:37PM
As opposed to Prince of Persia which was hugely marketed and a meh flick. I'll still watch it for obvious Jake Gyllenhaal reasons. - LaneSparrow316 846.9 #106 5-30-12 4:06PM
I hope this isn't the case...they did that for a while and then returned to the fairy tale/princess genre with Princess and the Frog and Tangled and overall both movies were a hit with audiences. Now, it seems Brave is following the same pattern do far. People like princess stories, there's no shame in that. I do think though that we need another good story that showcases the prince/male main character ala Aladdin and The Lion King :) - Aquata 292.2 #659 5-30-12 4:11PM
I liked Prince of Persia, too bad it didn't do well enough - iamdugsmaster 756.6 #132 5-30-12 4:12PM
It wasn't a bad movie, I think I was just expecting more. - LaneSparrow316 846.9 #106 5-30-12 4:19PM

Did they say Rapunzel was going to be the last Disney princess? If so, that's shocking. - JenInWonderland1025.1 #86 5-30-12 1:44PMLike Reply
I doubt it. I think Disney will continue to do full length features aside from their Disney-Pixar ones... - cynDOLEwhip744.1 #137 5-30-12 1:48PMLike Reply
I did hear that Rapunzel was the last princess. I read this months ago like on AOL or Yahoo News page. They mentioned something about focusing on "prince" characters now. - MagicalLand378.4 #358 5-30-12 1:56PMLike Reply
I would love princes! My 2 boys would too. I would love for this to be true. - Autoalice 135.1 #2515 5-30-12 3:45PM
Although Sofia is a kid princess, she's still technically a Disney Princess, so... - cynDOLEwhip744.1 #137 5-30-12 1:58PMLike Reply
