Input please?...Would you take a 10 year old girl to see the PG13 Avengers movie? And FYI, she has seen all the Star Wars and POTC movies...thanks! :)
I took a ten year old daughter of a friend to see it, and it was appropriate for her. All the violence is more fantasy type, no blood and guts and stuff like that. - madsdad   1868.2 #110 6-2-12 4:07PM Like(3)  Reply
Yup, I'm a total wimp when it comes to blood and guts, and I loved this movie! There's only one scene I can think of that involved blood, and it was nothing worse than a POTC moment. - KylaShea  632.7 #378 6-3-12 6:56PM
I still remember mads tugging my arm during the mermaid scene in potc and her saying "Daddy, I don't think that Ariel" lol. - madsdad  1868.2 #110 6-3-12 7:08PM
Hahaha. Those girls were crayyyy-zy. - KylaShea  632.7 #378 6-3-12 7:11PM
I took my 7 year old daughter. She loved it. I don't see any reason why not. But as always everyone knows their own children best. - PrincessAuroraMomma   607.7 #395 6-2-12 4:05PM Like  Reply
It is PG 13 because of mild violence and some bad language. - PrincessAuroraMomma  607.7 #395 6-2-12 4:07PM
Yes. I didn't see it, my sister did she said it would be fine for Lexi who is 8 1/2! - Minnis2Society   382.4 #686 6-2-12 4:05PM Like  Reply
It will be fine.. - azcam08   212.8 #1996 6-2-12 4:05PM Like  Reply
Yes, I don't recall seeing anything overly inappropriate in the movie! - TinkerAli   237.5 #1660 6-2-12 4:06PM Like  Reply
Perfect! Thanks :) - Darlingwendi   1228.3 #175 6-2-12 4:10PM Like  Reply
Yes I took my 6 year old, he really enjoyed it. I don't think anything too bad was in it.  - PinkElephants   745.7 #324 6-2-12 4:12PM Like  Reply
If they were ok with the level of violence, then yes. You have to judge the language and any sexual content for your own family. (this is my generic statement, not avengers specific) - JenAnneWho   300.7 #1053 6-2-12 4:15PM Like  Reply
For LilBird's 10th Birthday, we had a Birthday Party at the El Capitan to see Avengers. We had 3 10 year old boys and 2 6 year old girls. They all LOVED it. The girls thought it was SO cool!! There is a lot of action and fighting in it but it's great!!! Hope this helps - Disneybird   173.1 #2526 6-2-12 4:17PM Like  Reply
We took our 9 year old son he loved it. I loved it! The only thing I noticed was violence and a small scene with ironman and his girlfriend talking with small innuendos. Over all nothing worse than on TV. - FaithTrustPixiedust   22.7 #7614 6-2-12 4:19PM Like  Reply
I would say any child that has the attention span to sit thru it and enjoys super hero fun should see it.  LOTS of good hearted humor.  The violence is purely comical, and hardly different from cool old school Disney cartoon shorts. - TheBudd   357.3 #759 6-2-12 4:21PM Like  Reply
I love MW... :) - Darlingwendi   1228.3 #175 6-2-12 4:25PM Like  Reply
I was going to take my 8 year old brothers in law I thought it was plenty appropriate but to each there own. Personally I didn't find it much adult than pirates or star wars :) - excmdlgurl   553.5 #438 6-2-12 4:27PM Like  Reply
We went and saw it last night along with dark shadows and I think it would be fine to take your 10 year old. For someone that doesn't like comics.. I enjoyed it ;) - Keala76   330.4 #867 6-2-12 4:46PM Like  Reply

I took my 10 yr old son he loved it. I dont remember any bad words. I think she'll love it. I've heard worse walking around the park. - disneygal   433.2 #598 6-2-12 5:42PM Like  Reply
The big issue will be the language. - RadioMaverick   1670.0 #126 6-2-12 5:58PM Like  Reply
16 or 17 obscenities (some “d” words, some “h” words, one SOB, but no “f” words) - RadioMaverick  1670.0 #126 6-2-12 6:07PM

I took my son to see POTC 2 and I believe he was barely 2. His doctor wasn't happy about that. Anyways to answer your question yes. - EmperorsHandLelundrial   1105.6 #208 6-2-12 6:34PM Like  Reply
