Input please?...Would you take a 10 year old girl to see the PG13 Avengers movie? And FYI, she has seen all the Star Wars and POTC movies...thanks! :)
I took a ten year old daughter of a friend to see it, and it was appropriate for her. All the violence is more fantasy type, no blood and guts and stuff like that. - madsdad 1800.8 #68 6-2-12 4:07PMLike(3)Reply
I took my 7 year old daughter. She loved it. I don't see any reason why not. But as always everyone knows their own children best. - PrincessAuroraMomma 452.5 #412 6-2-12 4:05PMLikeReply
Yes. I didn't see it, my sister did she said it would be fine for Lexi who is 8 1/2! - Minnis2Society 369.9 #538 6-2-12 4:05PMLikeReply
Yes I took my 6 year old, he really enjoyed it. I don't think anything too bad was in it. - PinkElephants 745.5 #213 6-2-12 4:12PMLikeReply
If they were ok with the level of violence, then yes. You have to judge the language and any sexual content for your own family. (this is my generic statement, not avengers specific) - JenAnneWho 300.7 #802 6-2-12 4:15PMLikeReply
For LilBird's 10th Birthday, we had a Birthday Party at the El Capitan to see Avengers. We had 3 10 year old boys and 2 6 year old girls. They all LOVED it. The girls thought it was SO cool!! There is a lot of action and fighting in it but it's great!!! Hope this helps - Disneybird 173.1 #2211 6-2-12 4:17PMLikeReply
We took our 9 year old son he loved it. I loved it! The only thing I noticed was violence and a small scene with ironman and his girlfriend talking with small innuendos. Over all nothing worse than on TV. - FaithTrustPixiedust 22.7 #5984 6-2-12 4:19PMLikeReply
I would say any child that has the attention span to sit thru it and enjoys super hero fun should see it. LOTS of good hearted humor. The violence is purely comical, and hardly different from cool old school Disney cartoon shorts. - TheBudd 357.3 #570 6-2-12 4:21PMLikeReply
I was going to take my 8 year old brothers in law I thought it was plenty appropriate but to each there own. Personally I didn't find it much adult than pirates or star wars :) - excmdlgurl 269.1 #1045 6-2-12 4:27PMLikeReply
We went and saw it last night along with dark shadows and I think it would be fine to take your 10 year old. For someone that doesn't like comics.. I enjoyed it ;) - Keala76 293.5 #848 6-2-12 4:46PMLikeReply
ive watched it like 5 times, and i cant remember one curse word.... - Radius 502.7 #363 6-2-12 5:08PMLikeReply
My husband took our 8 1/2 year old and she loved it. She's seen all the super hero movies with him and likes them all. - duckchub 525.3 #339 6-2-12 5:12PMLikeReply
I took my 10 yr old son he loved it. I dont remember any bad words. I think she'll love it. I've heard worse walking around the park. - disneygal 433.2 #432 6-2-12 5:42PMLikeReply
My 7 yr old niece went and loved it. There is no swearing at all in the movie. - Dahulagirl 1054.9 #141 6-2-12 6:01PMLikeReply
I took a 4 year old and he loves it...yep I was that parent in the theater. - DisneyDreamer18 178.2 #2143 6-2-12 6:07PMLikeReply
16 or 17 obscenities (some “d” words, some “h” words, one SOB, but no “f” words). - RadioMaverick 1065.2 #138 6-2-12 6:12PMLikeReply
Definitely yes. Very few curse words. No blood or gore. No adult situations. Just a great movie. - Eraf61 264.8 #1083 6-2-12 6:15PMLikeReply
I took my son to see POTC 2 and I believe he was barely 2. His doctor wasn't happy about that. Anyways to answer your question yes. - Lelundrial 468.4 #392 6-2-12 6:34PMLikeReply
And the verdict is...yes, she loved it! "that was cool"...and her fave was the Hulk. Thanks again everyone for the input :) - Darlingwendi 897.8 #166 6-3-12 2:14PMLikeReply
I took my 2yr old to see star wars ep1 3D! his favorite was the pod racing scene! He was ducking and diving!! :) - Jfigg23 257.4 #1150 6-3-12 2:17PMLikeReply
