Hi! I had a question for anyone who has recently visited Disney world in Florida. My husband and I might get the opportunity to visit Disney World in Florida for our anniversary. We would only get to stay for one full day. (even one day would be a blast!) in your opinion, do you think we would be able to see everything in a day? This would be soooo exciting! I LOVE Dland, and have never been to Disney World. We were engaged at Disneyland, so it would be very fitting!

Wow, Nyghtngale, the Epcot idea sounds great, I didn't realize the monorail connects the parks, so I could see how we could go from one to another. But, it might be overwhelming trying to see it all, that is why I think we might do just one, but hearing that others can manage more than one is beginning to sound interesting... The monorail only connects to EPCOT, Magic Kingdom and the three monorail connected resorts (Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Contemporary). I suggested that "game plan" for you because it's romantic and it allows to you travel by monorail to all destinations. Since you've been to Disneyland I would recommend just spending the whole day at Epcot because it's completely different and you won't burn up time bouncing around parks. If your able to go to Disneyland often I would say not to go to the Magic Kingdom just because it is very similar to DL. Epcot has ALOT to do but not tons of rides. Hollywood studios is fun and we finished it in one day but again has many rides the same as Disneyland (star tours, tour of terror). And then animal kingdom has the animals of course but a few rides I'm dying to do haha. It's impossible to do everything in one day but i would say you could possibly do Hollywood studios and epcot together if you moved fast and miss a few things lol. Also check the hours of all the parks. If epcot closes at let's say 9 and the magic kingdom at 12am you could spend a few hours there as well. Or visit in the morning if it opens early (if your staying at a WDW they has have pretty sweet extra magic hours so check that out too. Finally have you checked out the WDW mouse wait? if u want to see the 4 parks in one day, make sure to maximize your time. Dont do rides, but take a lot of pics on main structures. (the tree of life - animal kingdom; sorcerer hat - hollywood studios; spaceship earth - epcot; cinderella castle - magic kingdom) But again, time is very important here... - otilegna  865.9 #106 6-7-12 1:33AM Like  Reply
My wife and I went in Nov,we stayed at the Universal portofino Hotel,it was very nice,we hit Disney for one day,Magic kingdom in the morning,Hollywood studios in the aft and finished with the night at Epcot,we did all the rides and attractions we wanted to,it was exhausting,and for us it was getting between the parks was pretty frustrating it takes a bit of time,you get so spoiled with the convenience of Dl and Dca. - Marko  4.6 #11264 6-7-12 1:54AM Like  Reply
