Honestly is the Disney vacation club a waste of money? I've watched informational videos on it and they all seemed very nice however, a big waste of money. I would like opinions from members or other people who have looked into it.

It does cost a lot in the beginning. Also, you do have yearly dues. Personally I wouldn't risk it because as much as I love Disney and hope my kids will too, there is a chance they won't and I'll have spent at least 20 grand for vacations my family won't enjoy.
