#RAK. 3 years ago, my favorite artist of all time passed away. To celebrate Michael Jackson's life, I am giving away a souvenir program and tote from the Cirque du Soleil show IMMORTAL. To enter you must have a MW rank of 25, and tell me your favorite MJ song or video. This will end Sunday July 1 at 5 pm. Best MJ memory is when I was very young, I bought Thriller with my birthday money and played the album on my Mickey Mouse record player. MJ was here to change the world....and he did. Please everyone share favorites as well w/o needing to be added. Love it :)

I love Michael Jackson. I could go into a full blown rant about how amazing he is (I already did on FB this morning lol)! My favorite song would have to be " will you be there" and my favorite MJ memories are when I visited Neverland and watching the Captain EO tribute for the first time and everyone stood up applauding when he rose up from the ground. No need to add me, but I wanted to share a few interesting things about Michael Jackson.  My 6 year old daughter has always been terrified of POTC, but loves Michael Jackson and all of his music (our favorite is Billy Jean).  I told her a story about how POTC was Jackson's favorite ride at DL.  So much so that Steve Wynn built the Treasure Island hotel in Las Vegas to honor Michael Jackson as a place he could stay that mimics the theme.  One day I had dinner at that hotel and sat at the table next to Michael Jackson and he said hello to me and the people in my party.  She loved that story and has conquered her fear of POTC, in honor of a singer that she loves very much. - Gabster1  200.0 #1630 6-25-12 8:10PM Like(1)  Reply

My current favorite MJ song is Smooth Criminal. My 9 year old son became obsessed with MJ last year. He "studies" all his videos and smooth criminal is his first he has learned all the moves to. He wears a fedora every day and a sparkly white glove. At a recent baptism he wore an armband with his suit and tape on his fingers. Oh gosh, I've got to enter this for my dear friend and ultimate MJ fan, SupremeLeader. My favorite video is a tie between Thriller and Billie Jean. When my sister and I were younger, we would put on the Bad and Thriller records, yes records, and blast it over and over again. On two different occasions we blew my Dad's speakers out. I wore out my Thriller album. I used to cover my ears during Vincent Price's speaking part in Thriller cause it scared me. I've passed on the MJ love to my 3 year old.
