Court tells Disneyland to study use of ##Segways by park visitors! http://www.fox40.com/news/nationworld/sns-court-tells-disneyland-to-study-use-of-segways-by-park-visitors-20120718,0,110128.story PS. I hope I hashed it correctly (I do know how to hash..), and that this is permitted and hasn't been posted yet. I did do a search..
just read this on my local news here in san diego. i couldnt believe it. i think it would be a dangerous addition to the parks. people are always rushing and its always pretty crowded, even more so after fireworks, shows, and parades. its tough enough with a stroller or wheel chair. i think adding people on segways could have the potential for other guests, or the riders them selves getting injured. i know for some the segway is easier and better than the wheel chair, i just dont think it meshes well with the crowds at a park like disneyland - Mikiestown   23.1 #6029 7-19-12 4:45PM Like  Reply
this is a very gray area. I know parts of San Diego they are banned because the users of Segways have injured several walkers. Other areas they have a real speed limit on them. If you take the tour in DCA they lock them down to 6MPH, but they are capable of 12MPH. People rushing around will create a problem.  - GoofyJoe   1906.6 #68 7-19-12 4:53PM Like  Reply
