Oh please pleas add me!! This is such a cool idea!! I love it!! I am signed up for the tinkerbell half!! I'm super excited but super nervous! My motivation is knowing that when I cross that finish line I will have done something I have never done before and can be really proud of myself! Sometimes getting out an going is hard but i try to remember how good and less stressed I feel after I run!! I also have a work out plan for each week printed out on my fridge and everytime I do an excesrsie I cross it off! It's a silly sense of accomplishment but it really works for me!! This is such a great RAK! Please add me! I will be running the half in January (as a early birthday present to myself!) this will be my first half! I've already started training and I hit the gym every day! I'm trying to loose 25 pounds before I start "offical training" in September (I've already lost 6!) . What keeps me motivated is myself! I have a great trainer/uncle and a dad who support me 100 percent and who want to see me finish! Good luck to you and everyone else!! This is super cool and nice of you! Don't add me though. Brooklyn is only 5 months old so I didn't want to attempt either this year since I figured I don't have much time to train! Wow what an awesome RAK!! I'm running the DL 1/2 marathon, the Tinkerbell 1/2 marathon, and I'm trying to convince my mom to run the Neverland 5K with me. I gained 20 lbs during nursing school (too much sitting while studying) so I've been trying to get in shape. My husband and I want to have a baby in 2014 so I want to get healthy before then. This is a GREAT rak for runners! I myself haven't gone on a run in what feels (and looks like...) forever, haha! I would enter but id love this to go to someone who really deserves it. I have been running regularly since high school (yikes--about 14 years now!). I'm not running either of the DL halves this year, but I would like to enter for PirateQueenBriezy, if I may. She has been a great friend in the Chub33 forum! I currently run about 20-30 miles a week, and my main motivation is to keep my lungs strong and healthy. I've had asthma my whole life and running year round keeps me from going into bronchitis during the colder months. My other inspiration is my 1 year old Golden Retriever, Joey. He has so much energy, and if I don't get him out for his run in the morning, he goes crazy in the house for the rest of the day, lol. Please add me ive been running since i was 8 yeara old with my dad he never missed any of my hs and college races. When we would run road races he would run back to run with me to the finish line. My dad has run every single la marathon and at one point was running 2:20.00 for the marathon. Now that he is older (62) and I run with him and the Disney half is our family race. He at 62 can run a very comfortable 1:40.00 my dad is my running inspiration and i only hope i can be as fast as he is when i turn 62. - gabes0969  316.8 #557 7-25-12 10:07PM Like  Reply

Hi! DL hosts two half marathons: one in Sept (DL Half) and one in Jan (Tinkerbell Half). Both are full for this year, but if you visit the Run Disney website, I believe you can still sign up through a charity. The regular cost is $150, and it might be a little more through the charities.
