many people are saying that Verizon wireless will no longer giving out unlimited data.. well that's true if u are on a family plan.. but if you're going solo, you're good..

If you have a family share plan, you can keep the unlimited data, however you are not able to upgrade your devices at the discounted price. You'd have to pay the full retail price! In order to get the discounted phones, you must switch to a limited data plan. - Mimmy 1405.4 #57 7-26-12 3:02PM

Actually I was just on with verizon last week and once you renew your contract you will no longer have unlimited. The "grandfather" unlimited plans will be gone for good when renewing. Spencer can renew in oct. and he needs a new phone so he has to renew. And he will now be getting 2 gig for $30 instead of unlimited for $30. If you are currently in a contract with unlimited you are good until your contract ends. It will now be unlimited text and minuets. And you will share the data between all the data lines. I have 2 smart phones and an I pad and three other regular lines. Right now before taxes I pay $240. For it all. And have unlimited for both the smart phones. If I were to get the 4 gig for both smart phones and the iPad with the other lines it would be $250. This is before any discounts and before taxes and before insurance.
