#TRIP PLANNING last week of August. If you are planning a trip during this week, here are some important factors: 1) It is the beginning of early 'off season' - hard to believe, I know! But many schools are back in session. 2) Hours are reduced. Sun 8/26 both parks are open 8am-11pm, with Magic Hour 7-8am. Mon-Thurs both parks are open 9am-11pm, with Magic Hour 8-9am. (Fri 8/31-Sun 9/3 hours not available at this writing, but likely 8am-11pm or midnight) 3) Entertainment schedule changes. Although WOC is offered twice nightly, Fantasmic! is only offered on the weekends, so at this writing no shows are scheduled Mon-Thur. 4) It is usually very hot during this week - drink lots of water! 5) Crowds tend to be fairly manageable this week as some schools are back in session. However, it starts to get crowded Friday when the marathon participants begin to arrive. 5) The Fun Run 5k is Saturday morning, and the Disneyland Half Marathon is Saturday morning, so likely no early entry to DL those days. *We have visited the park the last week in August for the past two years, and it is a great time to be there!
