Ok MW family... I need a vote lol I'm going solo next week and I think I wanna treat myself to one of the tours. The question is: Do I do Walk In Walt's Footsteps or the Happiest Haunts tour? What would you do, given the choice?
I haven't done any tours, but, is the haunted one only done at this time of year? If so, and if the footsteps tour is available year-round, I'd probably do the haunted one now and try to do the other one later on. Have fun, whichever one you do! - MeridaFan 3414.1 #28 9-13-12 11:34AMLike(1)Reply
Both tours are similar and different from each other. The new Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps has been updated to feature his creativity and innovation on building and creating the park. The price of this tour is higher than the HH tour because of the length (approx 3+ hours) and it includes a meal and some surprises. But honestly, if you're a big DL nerd, you kind of know all of the info already from being on MW. On the other hand, I've never done the HH tour. According to the info given on the website, it is less expensive than the WIWF tour, but it is also shorter in length and has to offer than the other tour. But, its only offered seasonally and Halloween time only comes once a year. - BaseballMickey_CM 6231.1 #12 9-13-12 12:26PMLike(1)Reply
BaseballMickey_CM I'd really like your feedback on this, if you don't mind 😃 - SPandEvLover 2979.7 #35 9-13-12 11:30AMLikeReply
Haven't done the happiest haunts but the walk Walt's footsteps was incredible and I always recommend it! - LisaMouse7531 410.1 #467 9-13-12 12:10PMLikeReply
Hello! I did the Happiest Haunt Tour last Halloween. It was awesome! I can also give you the CM names to request for it. Although...one of them was Gracey which is the ghost from Haunted Mansion. You also get a limited edition pin and treats. Very cool! - JEDIminnie 14.5 #7567 9-13-12 12:17PMLikeReply
I've said it before and I'll say it again A Walk in Walt's Footsteps is amazing!! Everyone should do it! - AshleyLynn22 791.2 #198 9-13-12 12:30PMLikeReply
Looks like I may end up needing to do a pros and cons list on both lol - SPandEvLover 2979.7 #35 9-13-12 1:38PMLikeReply
Okay, now I want to do the haunts tour! LoL. How do you sign up for this? Can we do it in advance on-line? Or do you just arrange it on day of visit? Thanks! - MeridaFan 3414.1 #28 9-13-12 2:01PMLikeReply
Definitely think we're going to do the Happy Haunts Tour in October! Sounds like so much fun! - disneykimmi 117.0 #3110 9-13-12 2:02PMLikeReply
