Okay one more question. We have early entry all three days we are at DLR. My brother is coming up from San Diego to go with us one of the days. Is it possible for us to buy his ticket before he gets there, take it in with us, and scan it when fass passes become available for RSR or does it need to be activated at the front gate when he gets there? I just thought it would save time to do that since we'll already be inside, if it's possible since he won't have early entry.
I believe the ticket must be activated in order to get fast passes. - OneDayAlice   497.6 #497 9-17-12 12:24PM Like  Reply
You're correct. On one of our visits I guess they didn't swipe my pass when we went through the line. When I attempted to get a fastpass it wouldn't let me because it said the pass had not been activated for the day. - aidensmama  340.3 #808 9-17-12 12:38PM
Yes it needs to be scanned. I learned that the hard way after gettting 14 fastpasses that said not valid. I let my family sleep in and went to the park to get fastpasses. - jjdq  338.0 #820 9-19-12 4:35PM
I do not believe so because it needs to be activated at the entrance and he needs to be there because he needs his hand stamped if it's a park hopper. - Timechaser_cm   265.3 #1350 9-17-12 12:26PM Like  Reply
I forgot about the hand stamp. I've only had a park hopper once. I guess we'll just have to save him a spot in line to get the fast pass. - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  731.5 #327 9-17-12 12:28PM
What time do they allow people into California Adventure? Is it like DL where you get in a hour before it opens and have to stay in the shopping area? Would it be possible for him to come in, wait in the front of the park and I'll get his ticket from him then and go back RSR for a fast pass when they're available? - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper   731.5 #327 9-17-12 12:56PM Like  Reply
Anyone know the answer^? - HasAnyoneSeenMyGlassSlipper  731.5 #327 9-19-12 3:58PM
You will be able to do that. Say your early entry is for 8, they'll let him in at 8:30 and then the park is open to everyone at 9. Fast passes are not available until the park opens for everyone although you can get in line for them. - Cinderella_Schnooks  3490.8 #53 9-19-12 4:29PM
