Just saw that the space shuttle will be flying over the Southland on Friday. News recommended a good place to view would be Disneyland. Does any MW's know what time. Think I may need to pay a visit on Friday just for this. Happy Wednesday!
NASA will not confirm when or exactly where the shuttle will fly over. However, it is being announced all over news channels that it will be flying over Disneyland, Boeing in Seal Beach, JPL in Pasadena and landing at LAX by 11 am. - aprilinjune4 481.5 #372 9-19-12 8:42AMLike(1)Reply
It would be cool to be on Mickey's Fun Wheel when it happens. - ScooterMike 1961.4 #60 9-19-12 8:44AMLikeReply
There is video on you tube of it flying over Walt Disney World this morning, just breath taking! - LynniePooh 238.0 #1358 9-19-12 8:48AMLikeReply
Looks like they added now to the story that it will go by Malibu, Huntington Beach, The Queen Mary, LA city hall, besides everywhere else. It appears it will be coming from the Griffith Observatory before Disneyland which means maybe flying down the 5? And it lands at LAX, and no one is being allowed to park around the sides streets of LAX like they usually do. Then in October they will move it to the Science Museum and we can watch it be moved to. I would love to see it at DL or over the ocean too. Take lots of photos wherever you are!! - secretagentangel 1240.4 #100 9-19-12 5:29PMLikeReply
It's going to be at Edwards for one night on Thursday. On Friday it flies over to us and then head north to Sacramento. It's being taken around to be showed off.. a cruising tour, if you will. It doesn't start its slow crawl from LAX to Science center till early next month. - Dipper_Pines 123.5 #2955 9-19-12 5:48PMLikeReply

I saw three shuttle launches from Orlando. Two from Epcot one from Kennedy Space center. 😃 - E-Ticket 1074.3 #133 9-19-12 6:05PMLikeReply
If it stays on schedule, it will fly over D-land north to south at 1500 feet, about 230 mph, at 11:35 A.M., that is the REAL info!!!! - junglecruisn13 5.6 #13981 9-19-12 6:12PMLikeReply
Over Santa Monica pier at 11AM, fly over some areas north first, then down south to see Mickey, landing LAX at 11:59. - junglecruisn13 5.6 #13981 9-19-12 6:18PMLikeReply
