So excited for the Halloween party this Friday. This is a first for us. Any recommendations? Rides, trick or treating, fireworks? Thanks.
My honest opinion is that the fireworks show is the best I have ever seen at Disney! We are some of the crazy ones that camp out an hour before the show, front and center of the castle to get the sweet spot. We eat our dinner sitting there picnic style and watch the light show on the castle that's synced to the music playing on Main Street. It is absolutely worth seeing. Being able to see it on Main Street means you get to see Zero flying over the castle where Tinkerbell normally does. There are some other lovely surprises that go with the fireworks. The trick or treat stations are all over the park. We go to a station, go on some of the attractions in the area and go to the next set of stations and ride attractions there, going throughout the park like that. The lines are very often short, if not walk on for so many things. There is time to do a lot. We've gone numberous times and always feel like we got to do enough and see enough and that it was worth the money. We never have to buy candy for the trick or treaters because we go more than once LOL - Autoalice 160.6 #2462 9-23-12 9:49PMLike(3)Reply
I went to it last year for the 1st time and will be there on Friday too. Its alot of fun, great parade and fireworks show. The kids had a great time at the Hub dancing with Buzz and the green soldiers. They do give out ALOT of candy but can also opt for a healthy choice. We only went to about 4-5 candy station and felt that was enough for us. : ) Have fun! - firemomof2 130.6 #2924 9-23-12 9:39PMLike(1)Reply
Plan out your event. Some places will close early for the event. Also, wear comfortable shoes. - BaseballMickey_CM 6851.4 #9 9-23-12 9:26PMLikeReply

I've heard it is a great firework show. Is Main Street the best place to watch and is it busy enough you have to stake out a spot really early? - Pudgeman 631.6 #286 9-23-12 9:31PMLikeReply
I'll be there too! A first for me and I'm crossing my fingers for no crowds. Hope you have a great time! - Pollyanna702 225.9 #1561 9-23-12 9:32PMLikeReply
Are many adults dressing up? I want to be able to do rides without a big costume but my wife wants us to dress up. - Pudgeman 631.6 #286 9-23-12 9:39PMLikeReply
