So I'm planning on going to Disneyland for my senior trip this year! What is the best time to go around June? And any money saving tips while we're at the park? :) thanks for your help guys!
I don't have any money saving tips. Disney gets all of my money and I'm okay with that! Lots of people will say to eat outside the parks, but I think inside the parks is where some of the best food around can be found. Have fun on your trip! And congrats on being a senior! - ladylikesdisney 945.0 #160 9-29-12 1:45PMLike(2)Reply
A while back I was in line with some high school girls who were trying to save money by buying the souvenir cup, thinking they could share and get refills. You can't. 😁 - bluefairy 643.3 #260 9-29-12 2:50PMLikeReply
WE went twice this summer. First time in June, right after Cars Land opened. We were there for a week. Then we went late in July. Weather-wise, June was so much nicer. Not nearly as hot nor humid for us. I also did not have a problem with the crowds. I'd say to go as early in June as possible, but once the summer hours are in place. Get to the park as soon as it opens, and if you stay in a Disney Hotel, then take advantage of the magic morning hours. We had a great time and never felt it was too crowded for us. Go back to your hotel in the afternoon for a swim or rest (but you are young, so probably don't need the rest! LOL.) Evenings will be more crowded, but I think it is like that all the time. Have fun and congrats on your senior year!! Enjoy it! - MeridaFan 3413.7 #28 9-29-12 3:30PMLikeReply
Early June but then again most schools will be out at that time - MarshaMouse 4073.4 #24 9-29-12 4:07PMLikeReply
I was trying to reply to ladylikesdisney above, but it isn't letting me. so anyway....
I agree. Love the food in the park. For those of us who don't live nearby, it is just part of the whole vacation experience. Love all those things we can't get elsewhere! But if you want to save, then buy a kids' meal. Split a meal with someone else. Eat breakfast at your hotel if you can. Drink water (free) in the park rather than spending on sodas. Again, go for the things you can't get elsewhere, rather than stuff you can get anywhere. Also, start saving now so you have more spending money by June. have fun!! - MeridaFan 3413.7 #28 9-29-12 4:09PMLikeReply
