Birthday Bash Meetup Oct 20, 2012 04:00pm Location to be announced, we will meet up outside the Park and then go in together for ride takeovers and other fun things.
Just a quick reminder of something I posted back in May after my first (and only) big MW meet up at the reunion: The meet ups and weekend were fantastic partly because I took the initiative to step outside of my shy comfort zone and introduce myself and meet others. Don't miss the opportunity...everyone is very, very nice...no matter how long they've been on MW. Just say Hi, I'm ____, who are you? Birthday Bash Meetup 4pm Saturday: We'll be meeting near the fireplace in front of Trader Sam's at the Disneyland Hotel and then we'll move into the Park from there, get something to eat, and then do the Jungle Cruise Meetup. The fireplace is actually in the vicinity of where the Lost Bar once was, which is where our first Family Reunion was held! To double up on what DarlingWendi said earlier, it is so much fun to go to the reunions and parties, and come prepared to say hi to people and get to know others. You get what you give always, so even if you are the shyest person ever, tell yourself you will say hi to at least 4 people, you never know, you might have just made their day as they are feeling just as nervous too!! I have only been to a couple meetups so I am nervous too, but I know it will be fun and everyone is trying to be welcoming too. I really wished that I could go to the MW Bday Bash! It's my birthday on the 20th as well. But I can't go. Bummers. Just got AP's last month for my whole family and had a whole week at DLR. We will be back in the ending of May. For now, this cool MW app will have to do for now. I love this app!
