I have a question and hopefully can get some great honest opinions. We were thinking about trying out goofys kitchen on the evening we arrive. Is the food good, do you see plenty of characters and is it worth the premium price?😊i appreciate any help and hope everyone is having a wonderful evening.
The food is really good and plentiful, arrive hungry!! You should see an average of 5 characters, could be more. - Linzee  516.6 #226 10-8-12 10:15PM Like(2)  Reply
Goofy's is one of my favorites for food selection, especially if you have kids. You will see characters. Also, a tip, if you are adults only and don't have visits, just let a cm know, with a gentle "please" and they'll make sure you're visited! :) - JenAnneWho  300.7 #610 10-8-12 10:07PM Like  Reply
When are you arriving? And aren't the characters just at breakfast? We will be eating there for the first time on Thursday. I can let you know? 😊 - PeachKay  310.6 #556 10-8-12 10:12PM Like  Reply
They are out at dinner too - Linzee  516.6 #226 10-8-12 10:15PM
I didn't know that. Cool! - PeachKay  310.6 #556 10-8-12 10:33PM
It's a bonus! I hope you enjoy your meal!! - Linzee  516.6 #226 10-8-12 10:35PM
I hope I don't sound like a lush but I really loved dinner here because I was able to enjoy some wine while I watched my kids visit with characters and dance in a party train. The food was okay but the fun we had made it worth it. Also, it's the only character dining experience available at dinner time. Have fun! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 - tballzz  390.1 #345 10-8-12 10:24PM Like  Reply
No more dance parties at Goofy's. We were bummed when we discovered that last month. It's still a lot of fun though. - handdmom  221.9 #1335 10-9-12 8:40AM

My son wants to eat there all the time, he asks me every time we go to Disneyland. "Maybe we can eat at Goofy's kitchen?" Lol - MarshaMouse  2835.7 #16 10-8-12 10:31PM Like  Reply
My daughter is crazy about that place too. Whenever it's somebody's birthday she says let's take them to Goofy's kitchen. - handdmom  221.9 #1335 10-9-12 8:41AM
Goofy's Kitchen is the best character dining besides Minnie's Breakfast. We always do both every time we come. Food at Goofy's is so good. You will not be disapointed. - DisneyLuva4Life  9.0 #7117 10-8-12 10:34PM Like  Reply

We did goofys kitcehn for breakfast a few weeks ago, we also did Minnie's breakfast! We never knew it did dinner otherwise I probably would have done that instead, breakfast wasn't that great. - Disneymomab  15.1 #5656 10-9-12 6:44AM Like  Reply
Goofy's Kitchen is the best place for character interactions. My husband and I don't have kids but every character came by and visited us. - MrsSchnooks  573.7 #191 10-9-12 7:01AM Like  Reply
Their dinner is great and plentiful. Go, and enjoy yourselves! Get an autograph book for any little ones you might have, and bring your camera. - meridafan  1036.1 #83 10-9-12 7:15AM Like  Reply
This is probably the only place (besides club 33) I have yet to dine at! Idk why.. I've always wanted to try it out and would live to take my niece/nephew someday.. Gotta make that happen! - SarahJoshDisney  69.5 #3410 10-9-12 8:15AM Like  Reply
I have done a number of the character meals including Goofy's Kitchen. You pay a premium for the characters, not for the food. The food is not bad, but it does not justify the cost on its own. My family and I have found that if you are looking for a character meet and greet meal, the best way is to get up early and go to one of the morning breakfasts. We try to get the earliest reservation possible. Once done you still have time to get to the park for the opening of the gates. Doing this we always get a lot of character time, and the price is not as hard on the budget. Last time our 1 year old got lots of hugs with mickey and minnie, and Mickey even came up to our table and gave her a card with a free picture insided from the photographer to commemmorate the experience. - AdamCumming  114.3 #2824 10-9-12 8:47AM Like  Reply
Thank you everyone for your input. We've do the Minnie and friends at plaza inn every year but thought about adding goofys kitchen to our list. :) - Tinkerbellmom4  296.1 #633 10-9-12 3:28PM Like  Reply
