CA is amazing. Where I am (San Jose) we can be in SF in a hour, Tahoe in 4 hrs, Santa Cruz in 40 minutes, Monterey in 90 mins, and of course Disneyland in 6 hours. Other than I-5 down the valley, I pretty much love CA.

I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. - Bo22 387.9 #544 10-13-12 10:45PMLike(1)Reply
I can't imagine being anywhere but California. I love the culture, the places, the things you can see and do here. Traveling to beautiful nature within minutes and a beach quickly. Snowboard and watch the sunset at the beach on the same day! DL close by, by far the best reason. It is costly but worth it to me - MarshaMouse 4704.6 #22 10-14-12 11:07AMLike(1)Reply
Like any place, CA has its upsides and downsides. If you're considering a move, research cost of living, economics, education, the political landscape, etc. of the area you're thinking of and be realistic: there are many great reasons to live in CA, but you still have to make a living--it's not a permanent vacation :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar 600.4 #320 10-12-12 5:57AMLikeReply
I agree. I would love 2 live in CA but its 2 expensive. I can get a reasonable priced house n still have money 2 enjoy Disneyland by living here in Las Vegas. - coll 31.4 #5491 10-14-12 10:51AMLikeReply
I love California! Even though I live in the most boring part of the state. - Jillian 767.1 #225 10-14-12 11:23AMLikeReply
I have lived Many different places, but we always came back to California. It's a wonderful state! - SueBayou 2019.6 #68 10-14-12 11:39AMLikeReply
I have a love/hate relationship with my beautiful home state. The weather is amazing and there is so much to do. However, there are other factors that have made me sad during the last decade or so. - aidensmama 340.2 #661 10-14-12 11:42AMLikeReply
