This may be a silly question but we never saw Brave and were thinking about preordering it at the Disney store sight unseen. Do you think we should see it first then decide?
My husband and I loved it, and we don't have kids yet. It is a movie that entertains children, and touches on a number of themes that hit home for adults, I think. It has something for everyone. I don't know exactly what your concerns are, but maybe read the wiki and view a few of the trailers before you make your decision? We will be preordering it, though, and that's saying something: I don't think we've ever preordered a Disney film--that's how much we love it. - Spoonful_O_Sugar436.3 #285 10-14-12 3:14PMLike(1) Reply
Thanks everyone! Looks like we'll be the proud owners of Brave! - MrsSchnooks574.5 #191 10-14-12 3:23PMLike(1) Reply
There are some scenes that are a bit 'much' (without spoiling or giving anything away) for the little ones. I liked the movie but I know a couple of people who did not. - figzchic462.4 #264 10-14-12 3:12PMLike Reply
I should have added we don't have kids:-) is it one that you would watch over and over? - MrsSchnooks 574.5 #191 10-14-12 3:15PM
We saw it in the movies twice and I would like to get it when it comes out. I'm a big baby and cried both times, but I cry at everything. Definitely a mom and daughter movie. - figzchic 462.4 #264 10-14-12 3:25PM
Nah, it's a great movie, hilarious at times and adventerous at times. Good for boys and girls! - madsdad1128.7 #72 10-14-12 3:14PMLike Reply
If you a collector of Disney movies, you will want it for your collection. My 9 year old and i loved it. My 7 year old did not. I think a few seens were a little to much for her. - DisneyVacationLover274.9 #782 10-14-12 3:16PMLike Reply
Yes, we are DVL. Good point. I think I'll regret it if I don't. It's such a good deal and we could RAK off the lithographs that come with it. :-) - MrsSchnooks 574.5 #191 10-14-12 3:21PM
