Alright mwers! We are roughly 2 months away from the 2013 Tinkerbell Half Marathon and/or The Neverland 5k. Was wondering who is running it and what last minute things you do to get ready for race day! (First time racer here!)

My wife will be running the 1/2. I think we are using it as an excuse to go back to Disneyland for a few days. We added 2 day park hoppers, just not sure what days we will be using them. Another tip I forgot about- carry some energy bites, gel, etc. they give you a Clif energy shot between mile 9 and 10. I have found that it helps if I have something around mile 4 or 5 too. Be sure to start hydrating the week before. The day before, be sure to eat hearty meals, but don't eat anything you are unfamiliar with. That's not the time to try something new or spicy! Also, if you are wearing a costume, be sure to do some training runs in it to make sure it's comfortable. This will be my 4th half marathon so if I think of anything else, I'll let you know!
