I hear there is a flu or something being passed at Disneyland? Is this true? Sorry for asking I was just curious and if it is true, just wanted to inform the rest of my MW friends.
Take a bottle of hand sanitizer and use it all day long! Touching hand rails, doors, seatbelts, counters, money, etc. can pass germs around like crazy! - DisneyDavidEMT446.9 #275 11-20-12 9:04AMLike(1) Reply
We have hand sanitizer everywhere. I love the ones that can just clip onto backpacks and such. I just buy big containers to refill them. Every car has one as well. Always use after touching gas pumps and ATMs. - Sugarbuzz 44.3 #3869 11-20-12 9:42AM
We had to leave DL , and go back to the hotel because two of our kids got sick. I am up now because a third just started throwing up. Poor kids. We didn't get it at DL though because it started with one of our kids thinking he was carsick, but it never went away. I hear its going around. - 7mouskedoodles161.1 #2137 11-20-12 4:20AMLike Reply

It's everywhere! Be sure to wash hands thoroughly as often as you can to keep the germies away :o) - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz922.2 #94 11-20-12 5:27AMLike Reply
Whenever you have so many people in one place the chances of picking up a bug increase. Wash, wash, wash your hands often and thoroughly, especially before eating. Using hand sanitizer helps, too. - fvbmermaid214.0 #1428 11-20-12 6:08AMLike Reply
And PLEASE cover your mouth when you cough/sneeze if you're sick! So many people at the grocery store weren't doing so yesterday! ππ· - Spoonful_O_Sugar 435.8 #283 11-20-12 6:29AM
Oh ick! Thisβis why I use the sanitizing wipes on the grocery carts. - preggoprincess 183.1 #1823 11-20-12 8:26AM
Even more, don't cough or sneeze into your hands. Use a tissue (put in the trash), or upper sleeve or elbows. - Sugarbuzz 44.3 #3869 11-20-12 9:34AM

I've gone last year on thanksgiving morning and my son was sick with the stomach flu that night, so it's just the season, happens all the time around this climate change - MarshaMouse2834.8 #15 11-20-12 8:59AMLike Reply
My son got it bad back in October, and we had to leave early. I will be borderline devastated if he gets it this trip. - LittleAprilShowers471.0 #256 11-20-12 9:00AMLike Reply
One of our staying healthy tricks is to take antibacterial wipes (love Costco Kirkland brand) with us (everywhere) in a ziploc bag. We wipe down the tables, and any chair parts our hands might touch. - Sugarbuzz44.3 #3869 11-20-12 9:38AMLike Reply
I get sick at Disneyland every trip from Nov-Feb. I started taking Airborne the whole time I'm there and constantly washing my hands and not picking things up in the stores just to look at them. I will also use hand sanitizer next trip. I also wear gloves when it gets colder. - SueBayou2012.0 #34 11-20-12 9:43AMLike Reply
Oh, another side note, the antibacterial wipes are great for those staying in hotels. Remember, the people staying before you might have been sick. Wipe down anything they might have touched. Remote control, light switches, table tops, chairs, and on. I "trust" housekeeping, but they are only as good as the products they use, and the amount of time allowed to clean the rooms. - Sugarbuzz44.3 #3869 11-20-12 9:45AMLike Reply
With a 2 week incubation period, you won't notice until Dec and thru Christmas.π· - Tomorrowland66.5 #60 11-20-12 9:49AMLike Reply
