Question for those of you who have done character dining: which is your favorite and why? (Breakfast or dinner etc.) We've done Breakfast with Minnie and I've done dinner at Goofy's Kitchen. My family doesn't want to do Minnie's again (at least not till we've tried the other options) but I don't care one way or another if they choose Goofy's for dinner. It wasn't my favorite meal but I'd go again. Any opinions are greatly appreciated!
I did the princess breakfast at Ariel's ghrotto and loved it because even as an adult each princess comes to your table converses has pics. It was special - Marciamcmouse7.9 #7827 12-4-12 12:04PMLike(1) Reply
Surfs Up at the Paradise Pier is good. They have fruit smoothies at breakfast and Stitch is there. - MXPrincess399483.1 #251 12-4-12 12:01PMLike Reply
Are smoothies included in the buffet price? And what buffet items do you remember? - PiecesOf8 378.3 #367 12-4-12 1:45PM

I liked breakfast at Storyteller's, we did both the buffet and ordering off the menu. I prefer ordering off the menu. With Goofy's kitchen, I preferred having breakfast there. - Lelundrial344.9 #435 12-4-12 12:06PMLike Reply
there are so many choices it's hard to pick. one depending on which you do determines the characters you get and also the food options you get. we've only done mickey and friends breakfast paradise pier (mickey, pluto, max, stitch, and daisy appear) and goofy kitchen which gives you a variety or characters like baloo,jafar,goofy,aladin/jasmine and a few princess. ariels ghotto will be all princesse, eat at the grand cant remember the name but you get meeko, chip and dale and a mix of characters and of course breakfast with mickey and minie with a varierty sometimes you get peter pan hook the fairy godmother ,max - pikarich677.6 #158 12-4-12 12:09PMLike Reply
We have eaten at Storytellers, Ariel's Grotto, and Goofy's Kitchen. Our favorite was Storytellers because nobody rushed us, the brunch buffet was so great and fresh, and the characters really took their time with us. the negative was that it had the most lesser-known characters. You get Chip and Dale, but then you get a lot of less famous characters, like the bears from Brother Bear and raccoon from Pocahontas. The fact that we werent rushed meant that they stayed at our table for ages and had fun with our kids. I did like the other two restaurants as well, but we felt more rushed at Ariel's, we only got a photo and the princesses didn't interact with our kids, and at Goofy's the atmosphere of the restaurant itself is just not as comfy as Storytellers. I did like the wide variety of characters at Goofy's though! They also interacted nicely with our children :) - brigeet283.4 #725 12-4-12 12:32PMLike Reply
i've done breakfast at surf's up and storytellers and dinner at goofy's kitchen. i think surf's up was more relaxed and it was pretty empty when we went so you get a lot of time with characters foodwise i like goofy's kitchen though. - nicoleface1325.0 #62 12-4-12 12:59PMLike Reply
Out of Storytellers and Surfs Up which had better food in your opinion? - PiecesOf8 378.3 #367 12-4-12 3:57PM
surf's up had more variety so i would say that one but it was also 10 bucks more. i would be fully satisfied with storytellers. i enjoyed their eggs benedict. - nicoleface 1325.0 #62 12-4-12 6:39PM
I've done Breakfast and dinner at Goofys kitchen and breakfast at the Story Tellers Cafe. I loved the breakfast at Goofys kitchen! We got to meet lots of characters 😃 - aussiekate164.4 #2131 12-4-12 4:19PMLike Reply
We always do dinner at Goofy's. We're not hearty breakfast eaters, so have not tried that. :) - QueenSnow3.6 #16902 12-4-12 4:49PMLike Reply
Breakfast at Plaza Inn. Hopefully next year we will take the Lil One to Ariel's :-) - PrincessDuckie590.8 #190 12-4-12 6:41PMLike Reply
I like minnies breakfast at the plaza inn. We take our time, food was good, price wasnt bad, and we got 12 characters pics and such (including a sword fight w captain hook) Well worth it to me.. - DisneyMe2Death607.7 #183 12-4-12 6:47PMLike Reply
We did Ariel's grotto for lunch and it was perfect. My kids aren't big breakfast eaters so it was nice to do a lunch and the princesses came around and got pictures. If you have anyone remotely interested in princesses I think this is a great option. - 3princessesandaprince139.7 #2496 12-4-12 6:49PMLike Reply

I've done Minnie's and I've done Goofy's Kitchen! Goofy's is my favorite :) There are a lot of characters who really circulate and you get a lot of time with them. The food is really good and it's just super fun ;) - AnnaJoy177.9 #1927 12-4-12 6:58PMLike Reply
