Hi everybody! Today my wonderful husband woke me up to tell me that he got a hotel room for our family to stay in on Thursday night. We will go Thursday evening, and Friday. I so appreciate this because our family has been through so much over the past year and a half. I mentioned in September that I was pregnant. I have been on bed rest. Unfortunately, last week I experienced a miscarriage which included two trips in the ambulance. My heart is completely broken. When I read posts from other MWers who are going through trying times it makes me think of others, and appreciate all that God has blessed my life with. I seriously Appreciate the blessing of going to Disneyland. While it doesn't take the pain away, it does ease it. Thank you God for my wonderful husband, and kids, thank you that things aren't as bad as they could possibly be, thank you for hope, thank you for Disneyland--a great escape, and yes, thank you for MW! May God bless, and comfort you all!!!
For Christmas last year my husband gave me a small ring with three small diamonds that represent my two kids on earth and my baby in heaven. Give yourself time to grieve. Waves of sadness may come over you and even come at weird times. The intensity will lessen but don't try to bury it. Focus on the love of your family and the blessings of God. I am sorry for your loss. I know what you mean when you said that Disneyland eases the pain. When I lost my mother, I traveled to Disneyland from Utah because I needed the escape and it really helped seeing people happy. - widowtallan  242.0 #1082 12-4-12 3:30PM Like  Reply
@widowtallan: I can relate to the escape. Disneyland was always a place to go for fun, recently it has become a place of escape. I know that God has a plan, either to be grateful for our children, to have one more, or have the opportunity to adopt a baby, who knows? I am so sorry for your loss... I hope your family has a wonderful time making happy memories. I have been seeing a lot of sad news in the lounge and in my life. My sister today found out her baby does not have a heart beat so she will have surgery tomorrow to abort. @ZeeAlice: oh, no so sorry about your sisters baby. Didn't we comment on MW about her having a baby, and about me being on bed rest a couple of months ago? My heart breaks for her. It is so hard. About a year an a half ago we saw our baby, and heartbeat during a routine ultrasound, but it was an ectopic, we had to go home to explain the situation to our kids, then I had emergency surgery. We talked about your bed rest, but my sister's pregnancy is pretty new. She is actually doing IVF because her husband is now in a wheel chair from a motorcycle accident a year and a half to go. She has quite a few fertilized eggs so they will keep trying. It's just all the doctor visits she has to go to that drags her down. I've been helping out a lot today with the crazy kids and letting her rest. I think my brother in law is more sad. This will be his first. and thanks @Darlingwendi! @ZeeAlice: I didn't realize she had other kids to care for too. You are doing what my mom has done for me. (Watching our kids sometimes). What a help! Hopefully after her surgery tomorrow she will begin to heal. I hope she has more success the next time around. You sound like a special sis! So sorry for your loss! My husband & daughter got me through my miscarriage 5 years ago. The pain never goes away, but it does get easier over time. My husband took my daughter & I away for the weekend after mine & it helped a lot. My heart goes out to you. My best friends mom had a still born in between her two oldest children. To celebrate her life, they planted a rose bush in the front of their house. I have never seen a rose bush that blooms all year round, but this plant always has the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen. I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how incredibly hard it is, I had a miscarriage the day after Christmas (we announced our pregnancy Christmas Day) it was without a doubt the hardest thin I had experienced but two months later found out we were pregnant again and my newest princess was born three weeks ago!
