This may be a silly question, but does it slow down any after 1/1? We've never been during the holidays and are going to be there 1/1 - 1/5. Can't wait, but just wondering if we should be prepared for 100% capacity.
It will be crowded for sure! kids are still out of school but I'm sure you will find something you can enjoy. 😊 - misschurro... 7272.5 #14 12-28-12 6:18PMLike(1)Reply
- Dave 13815.3 #4 12-28-12 7:17PMLike(1)Reply
It doesn't slow down until about a week after the new year. There are still schools out for winter break the first week of January and the parks will be busy. Both teams from the Rose Bowl along with their families will still be hanging around the parks during that time too. From my experience this year make sure you get to the parks as they open because it will get busy and packed as the day goes on. Since you will be there for more than two days try and space out everything you want to do throughout your stay. Also, most importantly pack your patience. - KermitFan13 658.1 #315 12-28-12 6:21PMLikeReply
I have found the first to not be quite as busy but all other days around the holidays to be beyond crazy. - MeridasHair 346.5 #710 12-28-12 8:23PMLikeReply

Can't speak for 1/2-1/5, but 1/1 has always been really nice in comparison to the days preceding. I speculate this is due to Rose Parade, college football, and hangovers. Regardless, enjoy your visit. - stratdad 291.9 #1003 12-31-12 5:11PMLikeReply
It's busy! Sometimes I think busier than before Christmas - MarshaMouse 5036.1 #27 12-31-12 5:28PMLikeReply
