I'm sorry, but when did a wait time and vacation app become a PSA for road safety. I like the subtle way you called out Dave, a dedicated member of MW who spends hours making this app better for people, on his video he made while driving. Classy. - LaneSparrow316847.0 #158 1-1-13 5:31PMLike(10)Reply
Is there a contract we have to sign like on Oprah? 😳 Let's remind everyone not to drink and drive too and also don't forget to get your pets spayed and neutered. - Mimmy1442.3 #78 1-1-13 7:05PMLike(8)Reply
I'm in! I will be encouraging my nephews and nieces to do this too! So many teenagers and young adults are still texting and driving. It drives me crazy! Thank you for such a great resolution idea that can possibly help save so many lives! Happy New Year! - HBMom13.7 #7224 1-1-13 4:58PMLike(4)Reply
I usually keep my phone in my purse to help keep the distraction away and answer phone calls with my cars blue tooth. - Prettynpink1023276.4 #926 1-1-13 4:09PMLike(2)Reply
I'm in! I always try to keep my phone out of reach but sometimes I catch myself glancing over if it's out on the passenger seat. Definitely my only "resolution" for 2013. (I really don't care much for making resolutions but this is one I'm actually going to make) - PiecesOf8587.7 #261 1-1-13 4:31PMLike(2)Reply
I have been there to see the bodies all over the road (sorry for being so graphic) from drinking, tiredness, road rage, and now texting. I cannot text and drive, I either ignore or have to find a safe place to pull over. I think this is a great PSA for the New Years, if you don't drive and (name your vice)_______, don't start, and keep all phones put away. We don't want to lose anyone from here! - secretagentangel1160.4 #100 1-1-13 5:26PMLike(2)Reply
I really hope people take this seriously. The life you save can be your own. Someone I knew from school was texting when she hit and killed someone. She's still with us, but her life as she knew it is over.
It's not being preachy, it's being honest - please, don't drive impaired, in ANY way. - ThatDoleWhipKimberly373.6 #501 1-1-13 6:19PMLike(2)Reply
Can we agree that driving "distracted" is the terminology needed here. If we are going to have a PSA let's include everything....drinking and eating while driving, reading, putting on makeup, talking with passengers, changing the radio station/CD/iPod ....all have been known to lead to accidents. And...a reminder about traveling with pets: secure them in your car, they too can be a distraction. - Gia801.8 #169 1-1-13 6:38PMLike(2)Reply
FYI everyone, I was working on Christmas and New Years and didnt see any post or video by Dave! I am sure it was wonderful whatever it was and I'm a fan of his! Nonetheless, I care for all of the MW family, even the ones that want to try and humiliate me by their posts or replies. Don't worry, if you're ever in an accident, and I am one of the responders, I won't hold it against you. Please everyone, whether you agree with the original post or not, have a very SAFE and Happy New Year! - DisneyDavidEMT1233.3 #93 1-1-13 6:48PMLike(2)Reply
I think a PSA post about using deodorant when visiting Disneyland is more appropriate for this app. 😜😂😂 - SueBayou2019.4 #50 1-1-13 7:26PMLike(2)Reply
Im in we saw someone on the 605 yesterday serve and loose control and spin out into the median!
Minutes earlier we had commented on how they were on their cell!

It is dangerous. People have died because of it! Its not smart to txt while driving. Be safe. No MWing while driving. It's not worth your life. - Mrs.mouse513.8 #318 1-1-13 7:28PMLike(1)Reply
