I miss the bridge, I miss hearing "🎶San Francisco🎶" and the Beach Boys as I entered the park, I miss the sketchy Maliboomer, I miss the tacky little water boat play area that used to be across from Silly Swings, I miss the surfer pizza shack, and I miss the glowing Mickey on Screamin'. I do not miss the McDonald's. - ScubaSteve028 835.5 #228 1-7-13 9:51PMLike(16)Reply
I'm just commenting because I can I finally use smileys. LoL 🚍 💪🐻👣🙌👀👺🏊 - VfxGenie 1556.7 #116 1-7-13 10:58PMLike(6)Reply
I love the real Golden Gate Bridge. I've driven it many times. It is a national treasure. That silly thing they put in DCA was an eye sore. Glad it is gone. The new DCA is far superior. - MickeyFan 1205.7 #153 1-7-13 10:00PMLike(3)Reply
Everytime I see the Golden Gate Bridge I think of Full House. 🎶Everywhere you look…🎶 - Jillian 767.1 #258 1-7-13 10:50PMLike(3)Reply
Hyperion Bridge might be simplistic, but at least it looks proportioned. That fake GGB was horrendous! I'm from SF and I couldn't stand looking at it. I wish we'd get more photos of Hyperion Bridge in here actually. - cesium55 531.8 #416 1-7-13 11:59PMLike(3)Reply
Also, thank you for letting me post some SF pictures here. - otilegna 2783.7 #52 1-7-13 10:04PMLike(2)Reply
I do miss the Golden Gate Bridge in DCA !! So glad to hear someone else does too ! I mean the park looks beautiful .. But bring back the bridge 😩 - eviljules 1468.5 #123 1-7-13 9:51PMLike(1)Reply
such a stunning bridge! last time I was there, it was SO foggy, you could not see it - misschurro... 7449.0 #12 1-7-13 9:52PMLike(1)Reply
Nice picture! We live in SF and hubby commented on DCA not looking right without the Bridge. - WeLuvDuffy 3.6 #28312 1-7-13 10:17PMLike(1)Reply
I still have the original park soundtrack though, so I can still relive it! 🎶 - TinkerSchelle 2066.1 #82 1-8-13 1:07AMLike(1)Reply
I miss the Bridge too! I also miss the C*A*L*I*F*O*R*N*I*A just before the turnstiles (loved the Holiday overlay with Mickey and Goofy and the candy cane striping on the letters!), the Sun Dial, Orange Stinger (too bad the citrus scenting never happened), Catch-a-Flave when it actually had flavored swirls, and most of all - singing along with other visitors to California Dreamin' . . . - NermieMouse 137.7 #2989 1-8-13 1:57AMLike(1)Reply
Nope. Did you walk the GGB today? - Linzee 1383.3 #136 1-7-13 9:54PMLikeReply
Not one single bit! I'm in love with the classic, nostalgic beauty of BVS!! - RCmom 5235.3 #25 1-7-13 9:55PMLikeReply
I prefer the new look. The replica of the Golden Gate was great. But I go to Disney to transform myself to some other place And I could always drive 20 miles to go see a beach theme - Murryd 300.8 #955 1-7-13 10:03PMLikeReply
I do miss seeing it in DCA ... But I can see the original on aclear day from my work up in the Berkeley Hills ! Lol - pirateflip 117.8 #3335 1-7-13 10:13PMLikeReply
Nostalgia makes me miss it (I hate change) but I really admit there is a charm to BVS that is similar to Main Street, and I like that. It was fun to go over it on the monorail though. - TinkerSchelle 2066.1 #82 1-7-13 11:11PMLikeReply
I definitely prefer the new BVS layout. Don't miss anything about the old DCA. - MousekaNinja 422.4 #550 1-7-13 11:17PMLikeReply
My favorite place to surf when I'm up north, the fort! Great left with the right tide and swell. - snappy 442.1 #519 1-7-13 11:43PMLikeReply
Goodness this brings back memories. Although I do love the new changes only because I'm an old soul and LOVE the dapper days - BubbaLoo 870.6 #221 1-8-13 12:52AMLikeReply
The only thing I miss is the sign that said "Greetings from California." I was that annoying tourist that insisted on getting a picture with it. Also the letters out front. - AshleyLynn22 791.2 #245 1-8-13 1:04AMLikeReply
I have to say that I don't miss those things. What they created with Buena Vista Street (and others) is amazing. - RadioMaverick 1256.1 #143 1-8-13 5:22AMLikeReply
I get to see the real bridge every day as I drive in to work. Weather permitting. - LaPearleNoir 2355.4 #71 1-8-13 6:34AMLikeReply
