For those of you who live a distance away, how long is your average trip to the parks? My last was 4 days and didn't seem to be enough.
My longest was 5 full days, but we try to do 3 day trip every other month or so! - sunshinegrl 353.4 #773 1-16-13 8:50PMLike(1)Reply

Mine are usually four days, but this trip it will be 5 because I'm spoiled and get to be there for my birthday! You are right though, I wonder what it would be like to live closer...I really don't think there would be a day where I DIDN'T visit the park. - AshleyLynn22 791.2 #291 1-16-13 9:01PMLike(1)Reply
I'm in Sacramento. My daughter and I usually head down every other month and stay 2-3 days. And no, it is never enough!! Very jelly of the the SoCal peeps!!! - oo_de_lally 263.6 #1376 1-16-13 9:29PMLike(1)Reply
is a 90-100 miles away considered a distance away??? :) for my case, weekends is the only time i can go to the park, so the longest one for me is during a Long Weekend (Arrive Saturday Morning - leave Monday afternoon). the regular stay will always be Saturday Morning - Sunday Afternoon - otilegna 2910.2 #61 1-16-13 8:56PMLikeReply
Once when I was younger we stayed there for 5 or 6 days and my parents felt that it was too long so they have gotten me use to going for 2 full days and 2 half days (the days we fly) - MandyPooh 480.9 #521 1-16-13 9:02PMLikeReply

My feet give out long before my desire to be there! Last two and next two trips are 3-4 days. Was there for a week last June, but just 5 days in the park. I would love to go stay for two weeks and go a few days in a row and then relax by the pool and do some shopping. Then back in the parks for a few days and repeat. That would be awesome! - MacaronMerida 4743.9 #39 1-16-13 10:18PMLikeReply
I'm from the Bay Area and we normally make it down a couple times a year and stay for 6-7 days. But this year do to my health issues, we haven't been since Leap Day!!! I'm going nuts! Lol. But we are on the 31 day countdown to a 7 day trip!!! WooHoo!!! And it's never long enough... Lol. - hatgal76 452.2 #574 1-16-13 10:28PMLikeReply

I'm a 18 hour drive away, so the normal trip was for 6 days. It never seems long enough. - dreaminofdisney 7.2 #15631 1-17-13 1:26AMLikeReply
We are 1,000 miles away. Our first trip was two days, second was four as was the third. 😃But now I try to get it where we get our flight early upon arriving and can squeeze in another half day. If I scrape together enough money, it will be 4 1/2 days in April. Because of work for me and now college for Anna, two times a year is all we seem to fit in. I agree that it's not long enough. I told her we need to move closer! - PeachKay 311.1 #983 1-17-13 5:46AMLikeReply
For the last couple of years we usualy do 11 days at the parks. - hairdog67 289.0 #1126 1-17-13 5:50AMLikeReply

We live 3 and 1/2 hours away and when we had APs we would go for 2 days every 6 weeks. It was never long enough but it gave me my Disney fix. Now I live vicariously through pics. Someday I hope to have our passes back but until then keep posting pics please! :) - MissyluvsDisneyland 362.0 #746 1-17-13 7:56AMLikeReply
Live in Hawaii don't get to fly out often so we go for at least 10 days with 3 or 4-day park hopper. Stay around the park; love catching the tram into DTD at night. - kianatony 14.1 #10000 1-17-13 8:11AMLikeReply

From my doorstep in southern utah to the tram its about 6 to 6.5 hours depending on traffic! I think we have figured out 4 days is perfect if we have an annual pass if not 5 or 6 would be good. - DlandDude 544.7 #448 1-17-13 11:59AMLikeReply
